+ 1 Fat Loss Tips

ad

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Nothing is as beneficial for weight loss than proper diet and training. If you get those two important factors nailed, then the results will show. It is a matter of manipulating diets and training in order to reach a given goal.

Now for just a few food and supplementation tips that I've found help out when trying to cut a few % of body fat, used in conjunction with a thermogenic supplement of some sort.

Solid foods over liquid: With exception given to the post-workout shake, I have always preferred solids over liquids, as they give you a wider source of nutrients, and have been found to be more thermogenic and more anabolic than liquids.

Hydration: To lose fat, or to gain muscle for that matter, you need to remain hydrated. It needs to be said that often, water is one of the most neglected nutrients, yet is the most important. Dehydration has been linked to higher cortisol output resulting in stress to the brain and increased fat storage. It needs to be said, that people tend to eat, when they are only actually thirsty (Directly from the mouth of the sarge). DRINK IT UP

Include a healthy fat source into every meal: Taking small amounts of healthy fats with every meal may help to reduce insulin responses for that meal. These fats can help to control the rate of entry of glucose into the bloodstream.

CLA: CLA is a natural component of turkey, beef and various dairy products that have been shown to reduce bodyfat stores.

Magnesium: Magnesium is the mineral that helps with insulin sensitivity, and helps to prevent stress.

Add cayenne to your thermogenic stack: A certain amount of food after meals is converted immediately for heat production. This process is called thermogenesis. Cayenne or red pepper has been shown to increase thermogenesis after meals.

Everybody has their own little things they like to do when trying to lose weight, these are just some of my supplementation ideas I thought I'd like to share.
