+ 1 Steroids as a shortcut to a dream body

ad

Okay, so I work in a gym right, and I love to see people coming in not just to bodybuild, but to overcome health problems or just to shed a few kilos.
However today at work, I got really annoyed. This guy came in, honestly about 130kg 20%bf and that's me being kind. He asked me if I could name him a supplement to gain lean muscle that could be stacked with about 3 or 4 steroid compounds. He was not a member of my gym, let alone a health club in general. I told him one thing specifically, "nothing will get you closer to your goals than FOOD". He looked at me like I was some sort of idiot. I sat there for about 10 minutes explaining macros, calories in vs calories out, yet he didn't want to know about it and proceeded to look at me as if what I told him was wrong. He then went on to tell me that he has poor nutrition, does not exercise, but wants a shortcut to a dream body through steroids and supplementation. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, as he was literally taking nothing I was saying on board.

Now I am a virgin to the needle and will not fully understand how AAS effect the body until I personally use them myself. But surely, they aren't just a "shortcut to a dream body". I cannot stress enough, that FOOD is everything. If you put in the serious kitchen and gym time, you will see results. Sure, steroids are amazing in the physiological effects they have on the body, but if you run every compound under the sun and have a PCT of weed and pop tarts, that is not going to do anything except seriously mess you up!

In the end I just bit my tongue because he clearly didn't care for what I was saying, I wanted to wish him good luck with his dead liver and limp dick, but hey, he didn't even deserve that. I personally can't wait to see what steroids can do for my body, but I completely understand they are NOT just for play, and serious food and gym time needs to be put in as any foundation.

Anyway guys, that's my rant for today

People who have no respect for discipline and hard work are always believing that everyone else who has achieved something did through a quick fix. Which shows a loser mentality, because while always looking for short cuts they keep themselves in an undisciplined state. Either that or he is a poorly trained LE.

I literally was just having a conversation about this yesterday. It came up over Lance Armstrong. I was saying that juice doesn't make u great. Nor does it make my body into anything that I haven't earned. When I wake up @430am to run 1.5miles to my gym that's not the juice. I do two a days and cardio sometimes When I count every single calorie and plan a weeks worth of meals ahead of time that's not juice. I'm willing to break every bone in my body to get that last rep I didn't get that cuz of juice. I get it from inside me. From wherever it comes from I was born with that. I didn't inject it. If I don't believe with my entire soul that I am a champion I won't ever be what I dream of being. I grew up watching Shawn ray, flex wheeler, Kevin levrone, workout on espn as a teen. I'd watch every comp on tv. I bought all the mags and dreamt of being them one day. The body I have dreamed of as a kid won't come from AAS. It comes from personal sacrifice, from my willingness to suffer physical pain, hunger, a social life, family time. It all comes down to so much more besides AAS to achieve any kind of success in bodybuilding or sports in general.

Tell him to get lipo, chest, and ab inplants. No exercise, poor diet, equals fat ass. Add steroids equals even more fat ass.

When someone already has their poorly educated mind made up on the subject it is nearly impossible to change it.

You are wise for your age and will do very well with the sport (+1).
