I really want to push myself to my limits and get to some extreme low levels of bodyfat like physique competitors. How far can you get without using any steroids or illegal substances like clenbuterol?
About Me: I am typically more toward an ectomorph I believe.
Age: 29
Height: 5'10
Current Weight: 165 LB
Years lifting about 10.
Body Fat: I am guessing around 10% (See pic in profile or link below)

The best cardio I have read and seen in books is the HIIT with sprints. However, I have never really pushed myself to extreme limits to see how lean I could get.
So what exactly is possible? And any tips or guesses what bf I could be?

BetterOnTopNaturally you can achieve any bf% youd like. Question is how long will it take and are you approaching it in a healthy manner. Best method of dropping bf is to count your calories and monitor your training very closely and adjust everything based off how your body responds. Make sure your upping your calories once every 3-5 days to reassure your metabolism so it doesnt drop. As far as losing muscle in a cut you only need to worry once you achieve 5-7% bf from that point and below if you cut calories to fast for a prolonged peroid of time your body will eat away at muscle to drop your metabolism and preserve energy.
I can get down to 5% BF just by diet alone. To spare your muscle you shouldn't be dropping weight to fast. If you are losing more than 1-1.5 lb/wk you are dropping to fast and likely losing muscle. HIIT works great for cardio. 3x/wk is about all you need for HIIT. Other days can be steady state.
Based upon your pic I would say you are about 10% BF.
