Is it bad or good waking up early hungry?
Hi there, i hav in the past week started a test an dbol cycle, my first proper cycle. anyways iv been going to sleep around 11pm (i usually went to sleep about 12/1am) i eat my seventh meal about 20 min before bed, it is always white rice and chicken/ tuna. Shortly after I have a pint of milk with a bannana and yogurt before drifting off.
Now! Iv been waking up a half 4/5 am starving! Despite having been full moments before sleeping? As i type this iv actually just finished my breakfast ( 6eggs minus 2 yolks and a bowl of porridge + fruit) having woken up early again.
Am i missing something nutritionally? Is this hunger a calorie deficit and therefore negative towards gaining muscle, or is it just increased appetite and a good thing? Any expeirence shared would b appreciated thanks.

Maybe you are waking up because you have to go to the bathroom. Try not drinking that pint of milk right before bed.
JackHWThis has only begun since starting my course, i also hav slight trouble actually getting to sleep despite being really tired
opticxLet me ask you one thing, are you trying to gain or lose weight?
JackHWGain weight, woke up at half 4 again this morning cant he back to sleep even after 2 bloody meals!
I tried porridge and peanut butter right before bed at 12 but it didn't help, this is really bothering me as im not getting my 8 hours, barely getting 5
You are eating alot of sugar right before (bannana, yogurt) which could be messing with your insulin a bit. If you are doing any carbs before before bed make sure they are low GI. Switch out the white rice with brown rice, make sure that yogurt is plain greek yogurt, ditch the bannana and replace it with some cottage cheese or a scoop of casein in your milk. See if that makes a difference.
JackHWSo stay away from sugar before sleep? Im gonna order sum MUTANT casein tonight should of done it weeks ago, would u say that porridge with peanut butter and a casein shake would b optimal? Rather than rice and meat of sum sort
I think the porridge/PB/Casein would be a good combo before bed.
JackHWCheers im defintley gonna try this and c if i can get a whole nights rest
I'm always hungry except for maybe 30 minutes after I eat.
I'm just always hungry constantly.
JackHWThis is me now i think haha
You could try drinking a casein protein shake along with your meal before bed...
Sounds like a blessing to me, too many guys say there eating all they can handle, only for it to amount to 3500cals. I'm lucky that I have a giant appetite.
Your body is a machine that needs fuel. Eat my freind, eat and grow.
Also, to address your concerns, as long as you are over your TDEE you won't catabolise muscle.
JackHWThanks for replyin thats good to hear, i was worrying that the hunger was a sign that my body was wastin away durin sleep, can't find fuck all on the internet that really explains
