Not a hard shit in ages, will i still gain weight

ad

For the past month i have been eating alot more protein and carbs daily in an attempt to gain some weight naturally, i take 100g of instant oats with full fat milk instead of weight gainers 3 times a day, normally it takes me along time to eat my meals.... today for example it took me an hour to eat my lunch (chicken breast with rice) Anyways this will be amusing to some but im shitting about 4 times aday and its diarrohea like? does this mean my food is not going to good use? my mate said perhaps i aint drinking enough water?
Any experiences shared will be appreciated, i also eat a fair amount of fruit.

are you sure your not lactose intolerant and all the milk is making your stomach and intestines create a watery fluid like stool!

You could also have a stomach or intestinal infection!
That amount of BM and that consistency is not normal, might wanna get a check up buddy!

Also loperamide will help to solidify you stool!

Best luck

Your stomach will adjust. I don't think its what you are eating that is causing it - I believe its from your lack of eating to increased eating that is taking a toll on your stomach. You are probably introducing more frequent and even portioned meals than you were doing a month ago. I can almost guarantee that this the reason. How much more are you eating now as compared to a month ago?

Brother if your digesting that many times a day than you may need to go see a doc. That's not normal. Here's a few things you can try. I drink this stuff called Konsyl. It's a natural husk fiber/ bulk forming laxative. I usually drink it around twelve hours before Im gonna wake up. I have my body timed to digest the same time everyday. I like a routine. You could also try to do a colon cleanse. This is better advice than you will get from a gastro doctor. A lot of doctors especially specialists kinda beat around the bush because let's face it they want your money. I would definitely try the Konsyl if I were you. I went to a gastro and he stuck his finger up my ass which was violating and right off the back he set me up to get a colonoscopy which was completely unnecessary. At least I know my colon is good though but it cost a shit load of money!! I wish you the best bro and good luck.

is that 100g of oats a day or 100g 3x a day. sounds to me like you need to lower the amount of oatmeal. 1/2 cup(40g) is good enough.

What's your ratio of proteins to carbs and fats ideally it should be 40:40:20. More solid forms of protein will solve your problem, you need more meat in your diet, you don't need to increase your fibre if you have the shits dude! Less liquids more solid proteins is the answer. if your on a high protein diet and you have got the shits go and see your doctor mate, it's common to hear guys being constipated on a high protein diet and adding in extra fibre to help ease the constipation problem, because anybody who knows anything about macro nutrition should know that fibre's job in the digestive track is to lubricate the wall of the illeum.

Also are you using any medication?

Some antibiotics sometimes effects the bacteria and enzymes responsible for absorption and breaking down your macros in your digestive track.

The whole milk could be the cause. You may have a mild case of lactose intolerance. Try obtain real, non pasturized milk directly from the dairy. Fresh milk like that has not been processed by the milk plant and retains several beneficial digestive enzymes that are destroyed during the pasturization process. It's perfectly safe to drink within 48 hours from the time it's collected from the cow. It also has a higher fat % than store bought milk, which is usually around 3.7 or 3.8%. None processed milk can have a butter fat content of over 5%, especially from jersey cows.

Fruit will give you diarrhea. And it sounds like your not incorporating enough solids into your daily intake. Instead of the three weight gainers try drinking 1 in the morning and 1 before you workout and replace the other with a solid meal consisting of chicken potatoes and green veggies.
