Next Cycle Advice
So, I’ve decided to enter a 7-day cycling stage race (where you bike multiple courses over several days, like the tour du france) that takes place 18 months from now and I’ve been planning my training for that and my AAS use leading up to it. For the majority of the time I will most likely just run low-dose test and hgh as this combo works well for recovery, is relatively healthy and doesn’t come with a big weight penalty. However, 18 months is a long time my cardio training volume will eventually reach 20 hours a week near the time of the event so I’m thinking of running a bulk now to put on some muscle before I have to really get serious about the cycling training. This will be my fourth cycle and any input would be appreciated. I’m thinking of something like:
300 sust (weeks 1-20)
300 eq (weeks 1-20)
300 npp (weeks 1-10)
5iu HGH
My thinking here is that the first 10 weeks I will bulk and spend most of my training time in the gym. Around week 10 I will drop the npp and begin transitioning to more time on the bike. This is just my initial idea and I am open to criticism. I could also just tun higher doses of eq+test or even run something like 300 sust+300 eq+some test prop for the first 10 and then drop the prop until the end.
Training tor the first 10 weeks will be a modified Arnold Split five days a week. The last ten weeks will be the transition to cycling specific training with upper body a few times a week to preserve strength as much as possible.
Diet will change somewhat depending on the amount of cardio but generally looks something like:
250g protein
500-800g carbs
50g fat
Protein and fat don't change much, I just modulate carbs based on activity level and how my weight is moving.
EDIT: I should have mentioned that I have ran test and eq at this dose for endurance and recovery in the past with good results and normal e2. This will be my first time using npp if I decide to go that route.

Hey man, Prepping 18 months in advance is really smart. Your plan to bulk before going heavy on cycling makes sense, especially with a lower-dose approach once you switch to endurance training.
A few quick tips:
Watch Your Bloods: 20 weeks is a long cycle, and EQ especially can raise your RBC count a lot. Regular blood work is key to avoid issues like high hematocrit.
NPP Transition: Using NPP for 10 weeks to bulk, then switching gears to more cardio is logical. Just keep an eye on water retention—it can make biking harder if bloat gets bad.
Diet & Training: Your macros sound solid. Adjust carbs as you ramp up cardio so you’re not packing on unnecessary weight.
HGH for Recovery: 5 IU daily can help with healing and recovery, which is especially helpful once you’re hitting 20 hours of biking a week.
Be Flexible: If you find NPP isn’t working well for you, don’t be afraid to pivot early. You’ve got plenty of time before your race to figure out the best combination.
AK80Nice and safe, but effective amount of NPP. Take some P5P every day to stave off prolactin. Maybe .05mg of cabergoline once per week if need be.
That’s pretty much my reasoning behind that dose. I have caber on hand but the p5p is a good idea. What dose do you normally use for that? My understanding is that it won’t bring down high prolactin but it can keep it from rising to begin with.
anvilI would first look to do something closer to the start of the comp.
All that would have cleared out and any advantage you had from it will be long gone if you do 20 weeks and the event is 75 or so weeks away.
Personally I would watch vigorous Steve's video on endurance athletes. A brief summary would be a TRT dose of test, cardarine, SLU PP 332, HGH and some other alternatives to straight up gear. I can't remember it all.
Is VS back on youtube yet? Either way I’ll check that out. I’ve cardarine and telmisartan for endurance boost with good results. I probably should have been clearer but what I’m proposing is more like one last mass building phase before I have to cut down to race weight by September 2026. I hope I won’t lose too much muscle between now and then but some loss is going to be inevitable and I want to set myself up to continue building my physique afterwards. I definitely agree that any doping-type PED use is going to be a lot more important closer the actual event but outside of EPO (which I’m not even considering) it’s pretty hard to find info on actual stacks and dosages. Vigorous Steve is probably a great starting point.
anvilHe is back, and that video will have everything you need to get an edge.
