+ 2 1st Cycle ever

ad

40yrs old, 200 lbs, 5'10"

I did a lot of reading on this forum before I even created my account. With all the info on aas I found here, I feel confident enough to safely start my first cycle ever.

I just placed my gear order yesterday from one of the top sources and I'm all set to go.

Part of the reason I started thinking about gear is because I plateaued at the gym. I'm an ectomorph & gains are hard to come by for me. For ex, I went from 191lbs to 200lbs in over a year of consistently working out 5 days/wks & eating healthy.

& for the last 4 months, I haven't made any gains in weight, muscularity, or strength.
After plenty of consideration, I chose the following cycle:

1-4 test p 100mg eod
1-12 test e 300mg/wk
4-pct ai
11-15 test p 100mg eod

16-19 clomid 100/100/50/50
16-19 nolvadex 40/40/20/20

Not sure if I will do ai 6.25mg eod or ed.... Comments?

Then, I plan to take 19 weeks off before even considering another cycle.
All advice and criticism is welcome.

Also check your hematocrit and RBC, a lot of people skip this before running a cycle and put them self in line for a stroke.

yeah I agree CB nailed it. I too am gonna get into my 1st cycle soon and wanted to do a prop kick and taper but was advised not to for several reasons, one being able to manage estro side effects easier (prop kicks in faster so you gotta be ready to hit whatever comes up appropriately whereas the longer esters you can kinda feel things coming on), also the PIP from pinning (Im using pharma stuff so I thought it'd be less of an issue but you want time to get injection techniques down because that very important as well), test flu from prop, seems like it occurs more often with the shorter chained esters. stuff like that.
so IMO and like CB suggested, drop the prop kicker and just go with test c/e @500mg/week, pinning 250mg E3D.

however, I would like to include it in my second cycle as a kicker assuming all goes well with the first so I think using it towards the end as a taper, 1 10ml vial @100mg/ml pinned EOD, is reasonable given that its essentially the same compound, you'll have gotten experience with pinning techniques, how to avoid PIP, dealing with estro issues, etc. that way you can get your feet wet a little, see what its like, and assess whether or not you wanna incorporate it to a greater extent next cycle.

also, if you live in the NE area, directaccesslabs is probably gonna be the way to go for bloods, like others said pre cycle stuff so you can assess your baseline vs post PCT recovery, 6-8 weeks in to assess E2 levels and test levels, and post PCT to see how everything went recovery wise.

Usually it's a good idea to start with a long ester of test for your first cycle. Test P needs to be injected at least every other day which can be kind of intense for someone new to gear. I usually like to end cycles with shorter esters because I can start PCT sooner. If your comfortable with injections by the end, then that could be a possibility. Blood work is also very important. I like to get a blood test before, during an after a cycle. Good luck!

Khal,
I'd suggest running a 12 week cycle of test E 500mg a week, and if it goes smoothly maybe add the test prop for the last 2 weeks.

Do precycle blood work to see whats up with your health, and get a baseline number for PCT.

I'd also start PCT 3 weeks after last test E injection, the pct you have picked looks good.

I've tried ARO and ADEX for AI's and prefer the adex. ARO made my joints sore, and was harder to dial in the right dosage, Adex makes it pretty easy to get stable E2 levels.

Make yourself a cycle log, you'll get get good feed back through your whole cycle.

Will keep a log. Thanks.

CB did an excellent job there with his advice, I would just like to stress that you really need to get pre-cycle bloods. It is the best way to be able to gauge your recovery as well as effects to your lipids once you make the leap. This is a serious endeavor my friend, you seem like a smart guy so do this right.

I had some basic blood work done through my employer's health package. Everything was in the normal range...glucose, hemo, creatine, cholesterol, etc.

Went to the forum & researched what tests to order.

Thanks for the advice.

Get the one Rusty mentioned below, that will give you a good testosterone reading as well as estrogen, FSH/LH, red blood cell count and liver values. All very important stuff to know before you cycle so you can compare later.

I prefer to use labsmd.com,
they are about $20 more for the same test but give testosterone levels above 1500 which is good to know when doing on cycle bloods.
