i read that because clomid and nolvadex bind to the ER it can stunt growth? is this htrue?......and no im not some teenager im 21

i am aware of what steroids stunt growth. its only the steroids that aromatize that stunt growth. i just havnt gotten a straight foward answer about if clomid and nolvadex stunt growth or not.

in a sense yes but also no....See Clomid and Nolva are both synthetic estrogens. In so many short words, The rise in estrogen is what causes,as they say, you to stop growing if you take steroids because they fuse the plates(This is always the reason that women are on average shorter than Males and why women seem to have more bone density issues as they age. its all making sense now huh?). BUT Nolva blocks Estrogen at specific sites (as im aware?)such as that near the breast (breast cancer drug). Clomid im not so sure about as with blocking estrogen but definitely helps bringing your endo test levels back up at a faster rate. SO essentially what your options are:

A. Use Nolva and block estrogen which will result in your bones HOPEFULLY not sealing up, but risk a pretty shitty recovery (in comparison to clomid)

B.Use clomid and kick your test levels back quicker, but risking stunting growth

C. Wait till you're mid 20's and you stop growing, therefore you can use clomid to kick your test levels back quicker and not have to worry about stunting growth.

(hint: my teacher always told me the longer answer was the right one)

why would using clomid risk stunting my growth?

kwabby6's picture

Because:

Estrogen= stunted growth

Clomid = synthetic estrogen that works better and bringing endo levels back rather than block estro

also maybe proviron? is there any pct you suggest to keep gains that will not stunt growth?

hellraizor22's picture

what if i use both nolva and clomid?

Youre obviously not getting the point so im done.
