Clomid 100mg's.....
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with taking 100mg's of Clomid daily for a couple of cycles(solo) and if yes, did it up your T-Levels even more or give you better gains at the gym?
I just finished my 3rd cycle of Clomid and my t-levels came in at 535.....from 190. That was taking 50mg daily for 20 days, and then off for 10, and I did 3 cycles. I did get some strength gains at the gym.....I'm squatting 300 and benching 275 clean but of course want more and Im wondering If I up the Clomid to 100mg daily, if it will increase my T-Levels and give me some more gains at the gym? My Endocrinologist says he's OK me taking 100mg's daily.....our plan is if this works out well enough(get my t-levels to 700+) it will keep me from starting any test injections.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
T-Rex

What is your goal here? TRT? Are you trying to restart?
What caused your low testosterone to begin with?
My goal is to get my t-levels to 700+ and get more gains at the gym.....not interested in looking like the hulk but I want to look fit.
Not sure what's the cause of my low-t. Possibly my sleep disorder/apnea. My levels were below 200 when I went for my physical and a specialist prescribed clomid to start because it wouldn't shut down my natural test production. 3 cycles of Clomid(50mg daily) brought my levels up to 535. Its possible that because of healthy lifestyle I wont need anything in the near future but only time will tell. In the meantime the Clomid is def working but im greedy and just want more......I want to feel more of a "punch" and perform/look better.
Based on what you're describing it seems like your doctor was trying to do a restart to see if you can function on your own. Which means eventually they plan on taking you off everything.
If the restart fails and you decide to do TRT for the rest of your life intramuscular testosterone injections are a better alternative than long-term Clomid.
So before I give anymore advice you need to figure out from your doctor if they were trying to do a restart or not?
Yes a restart was the goal from the beginning b/c the low t levels were something new for me.
When I last spoke w/ my Dr.the plan was to take Clomid at 100mg daily for a couple of cycles and then go off and measure my t-levels then.......if they are fine we can roll the dice and do nothing while keeping an eye on them quarterly. If they go back down I could go back to the clomid or consider test injections.
Thanks for the insight
Since you are trying to restart my recommendation is you stick to what your doctor said. Anything else you introduce is only going to be counterproductive and you will be on TRT for the rest of your life.
Do you think 100mg daily of clomid(as opposed to the 50mg) will possibly make my t-levels rise above 535 and make a difference in the gym, or am I just wasting my time w/ an increased dosage?
if you are already responding to it then raising the dosage will have a positive effect. But at what cost? Remember side effects go up with dosage.
How do you feel on Clomid?
any vision problems?
Remember this is a restart. So eventually you're going to have to function on your own. Unless you doing Clomid for TRT in which case it's usually 25 mg EOD.
So if your body can't cope with it on its own you're going to have to intervene with TRT.
But it's definitely worth a try to do it on your own........... nothing beats Nature.
I feel fine on Clomid....normal. Its rose my t-levels so I just feel normal again.....and I got some strength gains at the gym(benched 280 today)......never had any vision issues or any side effects whatsoever.
Then this may be your holy grail I would stick with it. Instead of doubling to 100 why not go to 75 mg for three months. Baby steps buddy.
Probably a good idea....thanks again for the input!
Hey no problem and good luck to you.
