Arimidex through PCT

ad

I know the preferred PCT regimine is Aro, Clomid, Nolvadex. Can I use arimidex as an AI through the PCT? I understand there is this rebound effect, but if you taper off of arimidex properly can't you avoid the rebound? Is that the only reason to not use it during PCT?

Understand Arimidex is a type 2 inhibitor--at a high level Armidex attaches to estrogen as long as you take it as soon as you stop it lets go, meaning when you stop there is an increase in estrogen. I see what your trying to do with a taper, but there would be no point. You just keep taking Adex up till you start PCT.

Arimidex attaches to the enzyme which is responsible for converting test to estro. It doesn't attach to estro itself. So if your test is in a normal range when you cease Adex, my question is would there be a rebound?

This is such a debated topic. In theory, if your estro was controlled during cycle than there really is no need for an ai during pct because the cause of the rise in estro has been ceased (test); however, people use them and like them.
I personally dont use an ai. Could you use adex? I guess, but there is a much better alternative. I wouldn't worry anout estro rebound with adex, but rather crashing ur estro during pct.

The reasons for aromasin over adex:
Nolvadex will reduce adex's effectiveness although by how much has been debated.
Adex reduces igf-1

Aromasin does not interact or reduce effectiveness of serms, raises igf-1 and is suicidal so no rebound
Better for recovery and better for using alongside nolva

I've also read that Nolvadex itself reduces igf. I can confirm that is true with post Pct blood work that I got after doing the clomid / nolva / Aromasin Pct. I know from experience that Clomid even at 50mgs per day kicks my test up to 1200 and at 1200 I need an AI. Had to use 12.5 mgs of Aromasin to keep estro in the range when I did my last Pct. I can get my hands on Aromasin, I figured I would ask since I have Adex on hand. Every one advises against Adex in Pct. Technically you should stop using Adex when your test levels are back in the normal range, if test is in the normal range, then when you stop using Adex, then estro conversion should be in the normal range too right?

I should preface this by saying I'm not a doctor, just someone like u who has read up on this stuff. Yes, I would agree that estro conversion should be normal once test is normal, likewise should be lower when test is low; however, that is not always the case because older men with low T generally have high estro values.
I look at pct as a time when your natural T is very low, so you use clomid/nolva to get things going again.
Adding an ai can get ur test up too through nevative feedback, but I feel like ur estradiol would already be low due to low Test and that an ai would make it lower.
I always assumed that reading estradiol while on clomid would give false positive (higher value) because it is a weak estrogen in itself.

I'm not positive about any of this and am still learning so I could be wrong.

If u felt better running an ai with pct then I would keep doing it. I've ran nolva with adex without problems during a cycle so I dont think it would be much different than running the Aromasin. Either way, I would be interested in ur feedback on ur recovery and what u decide to do.
