Test P anavar cycle help (NCAA athlete)

Hello everyone I have a few questions about my dosage and pct. I'm a division one basketball player who's in the offseason and looking to gain a lot of strength and lean mass. I'm currently 6'3 200 lbs with low bf%

Cycle
1-8 test prop 200 -250 mg weekly pinning eod
3-8 anavar 20-40 mg ed 1-2 times daily due to short half life
AI?? (do I need one)
Pct Clomid dosage??

Can give you guys any answers to any questions I'm looking for overall critique on my cycle plus anything else is greatly appreciated.

I’m not co-signing any of the gear, but you need to learn how to eat. I thought most D1 programs feed there athletes diets specific to there sport and training needs. One thing they can do for kids since they can’t pay them. They have people whose whole job is feeding athletes right. Are you about to become a freshman or something and haven’t been yet? Also I grew like a mofo in college natty. You will never reach your peek potential screwing with your hormones now. If I knew then the things I know about diet nutrition and training/ supplements and recovery the sky would have been the limit. They should have people working with you who know more than me free of charge at the University and all the good food you need. Maybe they can even supply supplements that have nutrition labels because they are considered food by the government.

that is what I assumed also. True for football at least. They also have a wall with cubby for each player and they put all the vitamins and "supplements" that player is supposed to take each day in the cubby.

Basketball on college level is also way more skill than physical. So I believe either the kid lacked skill and thought using steroids was going to give him an edge or he's way younger or lighter than he's saying he is and he's trying to get bigger faster. Football is ofcourse a whole different ballgame (pun intended).

I would think that for the most part, bulking up would be detrimental for basketball. the more muscle I got the slower I got.
Doesn't matter anyway now, the kid is gone.

I'd think so too yeah, if his height is legit he'd either be a point guard (which I highly doubt) or short shooting guard. He'd be better off working on agility and speed instead of gaining mass. But again he was probably trying to compensate skills with drugs. We can't blame him for thinking it would help. I hope he's gonna do the right thing and stays of the drugs instead of following the advice of dinosaurboy.

I didn't get the feeling anyone was helping him. Just a few members ripping on others like always if it doesn't meet what they stand for. It gets old the ripping of members by others when we are supposed to be helping one another.Some think this site is theirs and all the information they give is right but yet they have given out very dangerous suggestions before But do have a question why do mods in the past let people competing for Olympian or Arnold and they were under 25 it was ok to give advice and make an exception to the rule? This was about a year ago it was. Maybe it has changed now. Not trying to be a smart ass or dick or whatever just want to know why there were or are two separate rules for sports. Also we know this young kid is going to do it and he isn't that well educated in AAS and we don't help because of his age. I understand that we really aren't fully developed in the brain until around then for males 25 yrs. Is their something we can do just to make sure people are doing it safe if they are going to do it no matter how much we tell him it isn't a good idea or he should wait. All I am wanting is a safer site and a way to help the people who won't listen to anyone about them being to young. Is there any way we could help or should we just ignore them or what I am being serious because the last thing I would want to see is shut asking us for help and we don't give it to him and somehow he dies or does permanent damage to him or herself

Never did I say that. Read what I wrote please. I said if he doesn't listen to my advice that he is to Young your advice and others that he was to Young. Why can't you say your wasting your money or bro you do that your going to hurt your self or die. And I also am confused because a while back a few mods and other high ranking members gave a shit ton of advice to a 22 year old who just got his pro card. Some said he was to Young but others didn't think it mattered because he was tryin to be pro. All I ask is this be fair here and one other thing what is with some of the disrespectful people on here. They don't like your view so they take away krama tell you to fuck off and can't read or comprehend what people are saying they cherry pick something and then talk shit. I like coming here but this place needs to be one place or another if it is a review site then why do we post stuff like this? If it is a site where we help people and do reviews then help people. D1 sports and IFBB are not the same, in any way shape or form. Subsequently, the 'advice formula' is not one size fits all.

Ok then west coast can suck it ...but I’ll help u out on some things....your diet is THE key to strength....you absolutely have to up your proteins and carbs...a member down below in this thread named Makwa has commented, I would 100% hit him up since he is the man to talk about foods....so much can be done with diet management before gear is even warranted....that said....I can’t give you much gear advise at this time but I will say that if you’re looking for strength increases, your proposed cycle is not what I’d do....var is a piss poor strength compound compared to others .....let’s get your diet in tune first and foremost and go from there...post up your daily cals / macros/ workouts and I’ll help all I can...or hit up makwa and see if he’s willing to offer advise....he’s a guru with diet manipulation ..

Appreciate the feedback!! Was doing this cycle to clear up any small injuries and I wanted to add more explosive power, speed, lean out a little more, and to speed up my recovery so I can get more work in I'm pretty strong already so I don't need to bulk anymore at the moment. Also what would you recommend for calorie intake, carbs, etc?

Well now injuries are another thing altogether....diet, therapy, rest , are the healing factors as you prob know from being an athlete....diet wise I would say ramp up your cals 500cals for a couple weeks, then increase 2-300 the next few weeks, then up again 2-300 cals...all the while tracking how your endurance and energy/strength levels are....I would suggest a 40/40/20 split on macros to start ..:definitely want the protein high to the point of fighting catabolism with all your workouts being an athlete...carbs will be the adjustment for strength / energy tho....to add strength you will be not be as “ cut” as you are but that’s the process....off season to bulk and add some muscle and power, on season to cut it up ( to a point), and show off all the work you’ve put in the kitchen.....
Adjustment and timing in nutrition can be tricky , that’s why gear is the last component to add after you’ve exhausted all of these options.....

Got you I was speaking with Makwa earlier and he told me I need to start logging my diet which I just started with my last meal. My problem with my diet is in between meals. I eat three tines a day for sure, and I'm getting my protein shakes in. I'm about to add casein as well for overnight hunger. Anything you would recommend to help me get my carbs/cals up for "snacks"?

Throw out anavar and just do a straight test cycle if you are going to do it and don't listen to anyones advice. Also what is your testing like? Do you get tested for AAS? That's what Alot of guys told me when I asked for advice on my first cycle but that was years ago maybe it has changed Alot of people on here know more then me so find a guy with great knowledge and let that person walk you through it. DONT CHERRY PICK from everyones comments and pick what one you like the best that condones what you want to do.
Be straight with yourself and be healthy when doing this. Get bloods before on and after cycle to make sure nothing goes seriously wrong.

Some people don't even know that they should get blood tests. But on here there are some people who are going to do it no matter what and most people tell them bad advice or rip on them knowing full well they are going to do it. We should help people on here. That's what I don't get everyone on here acts like we help people but for everyone will seem to help we end up not helping others. But read my post whoever negged me is I told him not to cherry pick the comments he likes and listen to everyone. If you read his comments he is going to do it no matter what we say. So we are going to not help him at all.

But all I was trying to say is he is going to do it no matter what anyone says on here and he is trying to get input that meets what he wants. Ask me to clarify something first before negging me. I will be more then happy to answer anything you want. Not trying to be a dick about this just ask me to clarify certain things if you don't agree or we can have a discussion or conversation and learn from each other. I seen a post where we are helping a 19,20 year old who is trying to be an Olympian and we help him with AAS and no one has a problem with it. Then we have this guys situation and he is to Young but the 20 year old Olympian is not. That's my only problem is we try to act like it is all black and white but it never is always grey.

It is no big deal to me about 99% of people asking cycle advice are going to do it no matter what we say. Others we might get to listen but if someone already bought there gear they aren't going to hold off using it 99%of the time. I was just trying to understand why in the past we could recommend AAS if they were going to be competing for Arnold at 19,20 but anyone else we can't or don't help. I like this site and just want everyone to be safe and I know this kid is to Young but there are some who are going to so it no matter what we say. And by trying to help them be safe we also put ourselves in a position where we can get scrutinized just for wanting another member to do it a healthy and safe way. Just want you to know I don't co-sign for him but if he is truly at a level where taking a cycle could help him get paid for a future in it then most people are going to do it
