Suggestions on Gear and Cycles

ad

Hey guys, I'm new to to the forum but I have been working out for a few years and I have been on trt for 1 year. 5'7 180 and 42 years old. I am trying to find a good cutting cycle so that's why I am here. I have looked at the some different mix lines for the last week or 2 but I'm not sure what the best option is. I would love to hear suggestions on solid cutting cycles and pct as well. Thanks in advance.

KMC has it right, too much, too soon.

It is assumed you're working out, you should be seeing great gains just on TRT. Just keep on learning. Second point is all you need for a cutting cycle is to change your diet.

Third point I just realized this post hasn't been remarked on in over a month... disregard my out dated contributions.

I've been on TRT for over 5 years now, still haven't worked out any PCT protocol for myself. Never plan to either.

This doc sees everyone every 12 weeks. I am guessing it is a money thing.

Yeah like KMC said you’re still being dialed in. You should eventually get to the point where you’re about 6 months between visits, perhaps more. For the time being just study up and learn, you running a cycle, even short estered and possibly not getting it out of your system in time risks you getting an inaccurately dosed TRT regimen or even possibly being taken off.

Your screwed, forget about doing cycles.

Is it possible to squeeze in a 8 week cycle and have it out of the system in 4 weeks

KMC's picture

Is it possible,??? maybe.
How??? I won't tell you.

Wait at least till your doctor spreads out your blood tests to 6 months or more. The reason they are so frequent at this time is because you are not stable.

TRT??? First you need to know what your doctor's blood tests schedule is.

Thanks for the input guys. I had thought about a little bump in my test but I really didn’t think it would help on cutting. I feel like I would retain water and have that puffy look if u know what I mean. I think it’s time to change my routine and get serious about the macros. Anymore input will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried changing up your training routine or your diet? Sometimes that will help when you're stuck. If you're set on running a cycle just bump your test up and go with that. Just keep in mind you will potentially have higher estrogen levels due to aromatazation. Si make sure you monitor your blood work and dial.in an AI dosage.

Theres a couple articles to get you rolling. Click the community tab above then go into the forums. Tons of trt and cycle write ups in there. Check the yellow stickies 1st. They're highlighted for good reason. Good luck

Mine are weird as they are really long and when I flex em they go up into a bulging ball and are strong. My chest sucks!

No prior cycles and I havent calculated the macros. Just trying to eat clean and healthy and stay away from carbs and sugar. I have been doing my best to incorporate more vegetables and keep protein intake around the same everyday. I also make sure to drink plenty of water.

So with the long ester, being on TRT, what do you think happens when the doc has him in for his next blood draw in 12 weeks? Even a modest cycle at the dose you've prescribed would be 12 weeks on cycle plus 4 weeks to get to normal range (16 weeks) and where will he fall within that "normal range"? You've just fucked up 1 year of trying to find a stable dose that will keep him in the 600-800 range.

DO NOTHING. Get dialed in. Be stable for a year. then start thinking about playing with short ester cycles. Maybe you can think about a long ester cycle if your blood draws are every 6 months to a year.

I see what you saying..I wasn't even thinking about blood draw timing for trt or anything like that..I honestly don't know too much about trt with docs monitoring levels.. sorry wasn't paying too much attention to stuff like that.. my bad brother I'll read it more carefully next time when it comes to trt guys..

You need to start tracking your macros. What is your TDEE and where does your macro fall relative to that. Unless you know exactly what’s going into your body in what amounts, how are you ever going to know why you’re stuck.

Ezmoney75's picture

Here goes. I started off at 19% Bf and I am down to 15%. I feel like I hit a brick wall. I'm working out 4-5x per week and I am doing cardio 4x per week. I have been trying to keep my protein around 1 gram per pound of body weight. I am on trt at 180 per week of test cyp. The doc says all my lab results are good and all of my levels are where they need to be.

The Impastable's picture

What kind of prior cycles did you run? What is your macro breakdown of your current diet, and when did you last adjust it?

Ezmoney75's picture

Sorry guys. Thanks
