+ 1 Safety of Ugl
ad
I’d like to hear everyone’s opinion on this topic.
It came across my mind that given how UGL stuff is manufactured and that’s it’s the most commonly used type of gear. Is everyone putting themselves at risk of BBV contamination from the steroids themselves? I.e could the steroids themselves be contaminated with Hep C for example or would it not survive?
I’d appreciate everyone’s thoughts on this.
Cheers, J

Your body reacts to any " foreign" subtance entering our system as a threat and invader.
All defense mechanisims are activated as soon as injection is administered.
What happens when your bitten or stung by something? Swelling, a lump, pain, itching etc... the same when we inject, different reactions occur and we can expect pain or discomfort.
The body thinks its being attacked, it treats it as a worst case scenario- infection.
If we pin too much volume or high dose gear it doesnt have to be contaminated to trigger a bad reaction.
Just use common sense when choosing, reviews are for a reason.
Sterility and hygeine should always be strict.
Brand new needles and barrels every time, that includes the drawing pin.
Hands should be scrubbed and sanitised, vial needs to be swabbed every time before use.
You should be showered before aswell.
The area being pinned should be swabbed properly.
Oil volume should be minimal, pin size as small as practicle.
Pin slow and steady.
Swab once pin is removed.
Rotate pinning sites.
If your really paranoid you can heat treat the vial before using.
Place your drawing needle in the rubber stopper.
Put an inch of water in a saucepan and place on gas burner.
When the water is boiling place vial standing up in the water for 10 minutes, nothing bad survives.
Some guys use an oven but doing it that way likely involves removing rubber stopper.
The thing is i think most guys have these issues due to the potent amounts of carriers in the oil that are in there for those reasons.
If someone starts having issues or infections people find out fast, if its not self inflicted actions would be taken immediately.
Thats why it pays to be a good productive member of review sites such as eroids.
One of the reasons it was invented for user safety.
I know this is Late but Hep C is a blood born pathogen, unless they supplier was dripping drops if blood into vials which would be pretty messed up it would be extremely unlikely to contract Hep C from gear. Hep A different story , dirty hands , some contamination and Bam u got the hep A.. point being go with a reputable lab and be sterile with injections !
Back in the 90s everything we used was pharmacy grade stuff! Never really got PIP unless it was suspension or Winstrol V(vet)! With UDG It’s quite common and it makes me wonder! Definitely more of a roll of the dice now then in the 80s and 90s! The golden era guys “Never” had to deal with this BS they went straight to the doctor for everything
UGL quality varies greatly. I've seen products being made in professional clean rooms and I've seen stuff made in garages. There is a concern of sterilization. Stuff being made in a garage isn't going to have the same level of cleanliness. The concern of a foreign particle inside of a vial can be very real. I've seen particles floating in sealed vials from UGLS. Now most PIP issues have no relation to poor sterilization. PIP shouldn't be confused with an infection. An infection is what you would get from a contaminated product. The reason PIP is greater today than the 80's and 90's is due to the high mg products being made. Pharmaceutical companies don't make high mg products. That's what the bodybuilder's were using back in the day. High mg products require greater amount of solvents. Solvents are the primary reason for PIP.
Benzyl alcohol is in every steroid injection. It will kill any foreign living organism in the vial. Hep C is a virus which is a microorganism. You have to worry more about toxic chemicals and heavy metals being present in UGL than a virus.
J16Hi All,
I really appreciate you all taking the time to respond with such informative answers.
I guess we’re erring on the side that this isn’t a risk from the contents of the vials themselves, more of if you share injecting equipment (which imo is crazy).
Thanks all for the discussion and info, stay safe.
Molinin302I'm not a physician, but would be glad to share what I know. All forms of hepatitis are viral, and advancements have been made in cures. Even for HepC. It's primarily spread through bodily fluids, but transmission is probable through other contact (such as feces). I'd hate to imagine that in my gear. There's a lot of misinformation out there to prevent us from doing what we do and being in great health. Frankly in my opinion the benzyl alcohol in the oils takes care of this issue very very well. These guys have you great advice and earned their +1s from me, I would definitely recommend donating blood. It's a free screening, will more than likely lower your RBC. And there's a good chance you may save a kids life of give a cancer patient some relief with your plasma. That's not such a bad thing right? Best wishes big guy.
Believe it or not bud there's such as thing as Steroid induced Hepatitis and also Alcohol induced - these are obv not viruses but still inflame the liver massively in the same fashion and can lead onto Cirrhosis easily .....
Molinin302Exactly, and agreed. His answer was specific to hepatitis. Overall liver health is an entirely different animal.
Its always a chance you take I'm afraid especially with a new UGL, the idea mate is that you use ones that have been around for a good while and have many good reviews backing them up such as on here :-) Safest bet generally is to go for ones that have been around for at least 1 to 2 years, if they have a good client base then they will make sure their product is clean and sterile as they don't want to risk losing happy clients. I was guilty of breaking this rule when I was a newb - bought a cheap one off vial of tren from a brand new UGL. Luckily only pinned 1ml before my leg and knee swelled that badly I lost half the circulation in my foot. Luckily it heeled given time. I have come across others that have not been so lucky ......
J16A good point Bill. I just wonder if people are getting themselves tested to see if they’ve been infected. I suppose if you donate blood it will be screened and you’d be notified
If somebody gets an infection it will be posted all over these forums. Not good business. Look up anabolic labs. They test gear and post results. This is One reason eroids is here. Keeps the riff raff out.
