HRT/TRT Boost
Just fielding opinions on the benefits of adding to my existing TRT rather than finishing it and doing a normal cycle.
I'm 37, 5'8, 191 and 17% BF I've been training most of my life very casually but I've been putting a lot of effort in the last 2 years. My diets good but probably the weakest point of my training hence the 17% BF.
I've been on TRT - Nebido (Depot testosterone undecanoate) for a year.
I'm looking to big myself a bit of a boost and thought about pinning a fairly long half life ester (Nonanoate, Enanthate, Cypionate or blends) around the 300mgs every week for about 8-10 weeks as well as staying on my normal 10 week nebido shots. I'm thinking I wouldn't need to have much in the way of PCT as I'd stay on the Nebido and the nuts have all but shutdown anyways. I'd plan to get the bodyfat down a good way more before starting the cycle and uping my game on the diet.
Any thoughts/suggestions/criticism welcome.

Thanks tread-m, all of that makes good sense. I'll look into getting igf-1 tested and also do some more reading around HGH. I'm already getting my diet under control and training well but as you say I may have a weak link in there in terms of the HGH. Cheers for taking the time to post.
tread-mAre you using HGH with/as HRT with the TRT? You can control your diet in terms of building and cut fat at the same time. You raise the caloric intake dramatically in terms of meat and drop all the Bad fat out completely. Lean meat filet mignon/chicken breast/fish in much higher quantities, lifting heavier....this will drop your fat and gain muscle and the second helps the first dramatically. If you are increasing test at your age you should take a serious look at growth hormone (if not already). The bodies loop will always balance hormone...the test therapy will stimulate the glands to produce more natural growth hormone but if you cannot produce more due to age the loop will simply discard and waste much of your test boost. The body will balance the two through the axis and those are the 2 choices it has. If you are to boost test and growth the decision has been made for the brain and all it has to do is balance with very little discard. The amount of test used is not that relevant unless you can stimulate and produce the natural growth to go with it. If you have not done so, you might consider having your igf-1 level tested to see where it is. If it is normal or low given that you are on test now, you know the body is not producing enough natural growth hormone to balance the overage in test. If it is elevated or high normal then you should be ok for now and the additional boost in test without additional growth may be warranted. Can't stress enough though from there...all goals with the body are subject to diet and caloric intake, you WILL NOT beat the weakest link in your program. Your strengths don't control your goals, your weak point controls your goals. All the gym time in the world means nothing until you dial in everything, its all one thing.
