So I started off using 23 gauge 1 1/2" needles a few years ago. About 6 months ago all I could get were 25 gauge 1" , which worked quite well foe me. I went online last week and ordered a box of 23 x 1 1/2 and the damn things look like harpoons to me....I feel like they were mislabled although it surely all in my head. Anyone else experience this?

That's what she said.
I prefer the 1" 23g but ran out of those, ordered from a slooow source and have been forced to use the 1.5" 23s I had purchased by mistake a while back. They definitely looked like harpoons, compared to the 1s. Also being out of the veterinary 7 gauge that I usually use to draw, I found them to be a serious pita to use drawing out. Other than getting used to that, they worked fine in the glutes. Ordered some 18s for drawing, vs making a trip to the farm supply for the 7s.
I'll be posting my review on that source...whenever they do arrive. No reason for it to take 10 days to get accessories, in this day and age!
Liebow21G or 23G is a visible difference in needle width.
BUT they do the same thing, and neither hurt. I remember my first pin o' juice... used a 21G - and I drew up with the same needle LOL straight into my quad. Did it hurt? No way. We all get PIP at first and maybe a few times after.... but its all fine. So 23G blues are just fine to use!
Oh your using 23's you'll be fine!
I injected my self with the 21 gauge last week just to try it out seemed fine. Just follow the protocol doesn't hurt anymore than the 23's although there was some blood lol.
3PUMPCHUMPI use 23 gauge 1 inch and go all the way in. Glutes, Thighs, Quads, tried pec and it was fine. I think you will be ok.
ray3801Oh I've used them plenty....just after using 25s for 6 months the 23s look ginormous
