I think Phil Heath is incredible, no question. However Kai Greene is a freak, his size is absurd and his thickness is maybe the greatest in the history of the sport. Here is what puzzles me; Phil won again being on the small but crazy puffy side. I can respect that the judges want a more aesthetic look. But if they do than why give Kai second place? He is a true freak. So that means if the judges want smaller guys with waists and what not than have the second place and so on reflecting that. Dexter Jackson should have got second place based on what they seem to want now.

waiterI agree bout politics. I think Levrone should have won at least Once. He eventually retired due to politics. Last i talked with him before moving to cali he was still bitter bout 2000 olympia. Today i think if wolf can improve bicep fullness slightly rounder delts and improve his back detail again he should take it hands down. He doesnt need to improve much. Im not a fan of them faces heath makes. I would like to see wolf take the title. II also like Dexter jackson a lot and shawn rhoden. Rhoden is another threat with lil more thickness n fullness.
everyone seems to have forgotten one name Dennis Wolf, he's the best of both worlds a true giant, mass monster, freak and yet he is very aesthetic, artistic xframe, wide as a house small tight waist, finally brought up his back and hams and here s what could also seal his fate to the Mr.O throne, his personality, very humble kind person with a sense of humor. all the qualities needed to be the ambassador of bodybuilding. another person with the physical attributes is Big Rammy but until he learns our language he's at a disadvantage cuz no way in hell they will let someone represent our sport on the highest level till he does. far as maturing his psychic that's just a given needs a couple years and he's there.

Kai Greene fan, I'v gotten into actual fights over arguments about him etc lol. but i agree 100% here, if they want to go that route Dexter is truly the fucking complete perfect body, cut that dude in half and his left will 100% equal his right, its unreal that guy. Kais my man, but dexter has my favorite body. also being his height it really appeals to myself personally. agree all day with u can argue this forever.
I honestly think that Phil Heath seemed bigger sized from the front and more puffy/bloated on his back. Kai Greene seemed to have less definition AND size from the front view, and they both seemed to have an equal chest.
As a judge, regardless of aesthetics or not I think Phil would have taken it either way. This is coming from a guy who really couldn't care less about who the hell won... I just looked at all the pictures of them both, and truthfully without bias Phil looks better and bigger overall.
Otherwise, is there any pointers you could give me as to what to look at? Maybe some details of what makes Kai bigger than Phil? Am I just completely blind...?
Well look I am no judge and never have been, but Kai looks to me to have a good thirty pounds of muscle on Phil. I certainly do not care who wins either I was just speaking on how freaks are likely not going to win for sometime because of Phil. I guess you could look at his overall density and thickness from top to bottom. We see it differently it seems and that happens.:)

Everything is politics. All we have in life that means something is our character and image. And for him it'll forever be the guy who fucked a grapefruit. And for the image of the sport he will never win. No matter how much better we think he looks

Phil can go on forever if hes always at his best IMO... Maybe in the future Big Ramy will give him a good battle..Rhoden will come even bigger and better next year and give phil a run for his money watch... But i think Phil still will take it.
I totally agree. His puffy look is going to be very hard to beat. Nobody else has it. But Rhoden looks amazing, if he keeps it up could come close. But Phils genetics make him almost impossible to beat because its not about getting bigger or harder to beat him, its about trying to get puffier! Without that genetic puffy type of muscle you just cant compete with him.
