Forms of Cardio

What do you do for cardio when cutting? This mini winter cut, I'll be hitting the pool for 30 minutes of low to moderate-intensity swims. I'm thinking I might achieve some nice core development along the way.

I gave it up. Maybe in the last 5 years ive sparred at my buddy's House of Pain like 4 times. Knees and shoulders aren't the same for that anymore. Dont have the flexibility really. Got a nice heavy bag at home and teach the boys how to throw a real punch. If you dont take them out in first combo then 98% chance its going to the ground. 95% fights end up on the ground thats why grappling is a must.
They are 2 very different muscular things really aren't they - at least you know you can Bang someone out quicker than they can think about it if you need to though lol I guess a lot depends on if they know how to fight - if you get some average arsehole in the street over here if you know how to box its very quickly over, if they do MMA then for sure I can see they are looking to take you down. If you have no kind of ground experience or know how to pre empt submissions then you are fucked Lol
Yeah so many people i know gone to jail because they knock out the guy and he slaps his head on concrete or bust their face open on the bar. That knockout shot can land you in jail for manslaughter. Especially witnesses always call 911 if they see someone knocked out. You can pulverize them but if they stay awake you have less chance of getting in trouble. Backwards.
For sure - happens all the time over here on a night out, 1 punch knock outs and the guy collapses head first on the pavement. Next thing he has brain damage or in a coma for the rest of his life. Game over. They will also look into your background and if you have any kind of boxing or fighting experience your sentence is even worse. Only way you stand a chance is if the other guy is the aggressor and hits you first, you then defned yourself etc. You will do 12 years here for that offence. There was a guy the other week who had his bike stolen off his property, he shoots the guy with a pistol in the arm and the thief lived. Because as you know guns are illegal here he is now doing minimum 25 years in jail for stopping his bike being stolen!!!!
Damn! Well my liberal state we only have the castle law, they literally have to enter your house. No stand you ground law. They expect you to flee first at all costs.
Put a knife in their hand after you shoot them
Definitely!
Shoot them in the chest not the back to be safe, then you can say they were coming at you and not running away.
And remember above the waste is attempted murder and below the waste is just assault with deadly weapon. Not to protect your property and family, of course its tap tap to center of mass but just in case you are doing some vigilante justice lol
Don’t do the double tap
I thought general rule of thumb was you shoot them with the M16 if they even dare step foot on the front lawn!!
That’s only in Texas, LOL
Thats Mac's favourite past time with the 50 Cal Sniper rifle ....
Thats my rule. Rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6
Could always take syndrome out for a walk.
Lift weights. 40 sec between sets is good cardio and not as mind numbing as running on a treadmill
As we all search for optimum ways to get cut & get cardio in, my suggestion is to not overlook the obvious.
Walk.
There is nothing cutting edge or sexy about walking. However, what works, works.
I myself had a bit a weight problem of my own doing a while back. When I decided enough was enough , I only changed two aspects of my life. My diet and transportation. Cut out all the nonsense and just walked.
I would walk to work, walk to friends houses, walk anywhere and everywhere.
I even had friends see me walking about town and stop and ask if I needed a ride.
In less than 6 months of doing nothing else but eating right and walking I lost just around 80 total pounds and found myself weighing the exact same as I did in High School.
I would also suggest, keeping a mindful eye of your posture & body mechanics while doing so. Make sure you are breathing fully through the nose. Keep those abs tight & sucked in. Make sure your shoulders are rolled back and that your neck is long & tall.
After all, the devil is in the details.
Granted I am not an elite Bodybuilder looking to squeeze that last drop out precontest. However this worked for this regular guy.
Moral of the story. When trying to optimize never overlook the simple & obvious.
Turn up the Pantera & just WALK!
What did ya say??? R.E.S.P.E.C.T - WALK ....
I love it !!!! I walk the treadmill on incline and i flex my abs the whole time , i think it really helps keep everything tight
Yes sir. Keep it tight like a drum.
Proper body mechanics in all activity will save you long term. Abdominal control and proper posture matters more than most comprehend.
Rowing indoors and walking outside personally.
