Pip, infection, or chunk of rubber?
A little update first, 5 weeks on 250 test e and I'm really starting to change! Up 12 pounds, a bit fatter and more water but not much. Mostly lean gains, I hope.
So far injections have been good, but I've hit a bad one... right quad, 25g, 1 inch, was fine at first, then sore the next day, then really sore and stiff 2 days later and has continued to be for a week. It's hard and touch warm, but not red or raised.
I'm really careful about sanitation...
I was looking at the vile and there's some little bits of the rubber vial top in there. I was drawing with an 18g. Not doing that anymore, I think I'll use the 25g going forward.
Is it possible I shot a touch of rubber into my quad and that's why it's so irritated?
Got the soonest docs appointment, but it's still a week out.
It's not super bad right now but I'm keeping an eye on it and I'll hit the hospital if anything changes.

Heating pad! Use medical grade filters and you can save the oil if it’s a full bottle. I can draw like 95% of my gear with an insulin needle, some heat, and like 30 seconds if I so desired. I use them to inject aswell- makes cycles that require ED/EOD pins muchhhh less stressful. Can throw .5 in a delt painlessly in under a minute total.
Exactly what I do. I use 25g for most of my shit but when I'm running Ment or something that required Ed. Takes the stress off the glutes which is my primary
That vial is not a total loss. Use a "Blunt filter needle". We use them at work all the time. We use 18g, but I'm sure they come in other gauges!
On another note, this possibility is why I love having a prescription. If this happens, I'm covered with an excuse. Plus, I work at the largest hospital system in my state, so it could get back to my manager. While it is technically illegal for people to tell my manager, stuff like that happens behind closed doors. All of the sudden "random" drug tests start happening.... which I am also covered by with my script haha.
OpieCunninghamOnce you withdraw the solution, run the syringe under warm/hot water for about 60 secs to thin it out. You should be able to use a 25g-27g for injects. Also, try not to move needle if at all possible
Just warm up the vial before drawing easily will pull through 25g.
Switch to vial adapters-amazon or any med supply company brother. You'll be fine just stay on top of it. Wish you the best!
23-25g is all you need to draw up. 18g is huge and won't take long to tear the stopper to pieces.
I'm a bit more selective, but then use 25, 27, or 30g all 1", for the IM injection, depending on oil viscosity.
Yup, I learned my lesson boss. Will be drawing with a 25 from now on.
You didn’t experience the 25g 1 trying to clog trying to push the “rubber” through? For sure I would think you’d hit a wall with the plunger. It could be any little particulate for that matter; Even a strain of cotton or sanitizing wipe or hair, ya know?
Not that I recall, but it's always fairly firm to push through! Good points though.
Yea. Injects should always go slow. Your body and pin will basically limit how much it’s willing to take over time. If you push to hard, I could see that agitating the area too.
well ive had lumps from injecting that if i listened to the old if its warm to the touch it would kf meant infection but having a raised lump that is warm to the touch doesnt always mean infection. but the fact that theres rubber in your vial possibly means that there is a peice of rubber under your skin. if you do go to the doxtor say you were injecting vitamin b12 and there is rubber peices in the vial, and if they ask was it from a doctor, before you lie and say yeah my doc just gave it to me. just know that some states(if you in usa) can look up what prescriptions you currently have active or have had recently. but i would try a walk in like clinic
