+ 1 Cheat Day Foods...

I am less than completely diligent in my diet as I am not an aspiring IFBB pro. I just to look pretty good. I was wondering about others cheat day foods and maybe even there "cheat" frequency. I will be honest with mine.

I love homemade burgers with home made buns. It's kinda a passion of mine to make badass burgers. I feel like Bob from Bob's burgers is a component of my personality. I will make them once every 3 weeks. I tried once a month but found that I just didn't get my fix if you know what I mean.

What is the worst thing you put down you throat? NO HOMO LOL.

5 guys is great. I like the “better” burger places because you can still see some pink as they don’t cook the shit out of it. Pink is good. I like pink.

I would agree with this for sure pink wise. I don't however trust the processes of any chain restaurant's practices. I am the only one in my fam who likes things slightly "mooey" but I get my beef and burger from my butcher and slap it on the grill.

I’m not a fan of ham- I prefer roast beef. There’s something about the color pink that doesn’t sit well with me especially the contrast on white breads.

Not on a strict regime right now, but when contest prepping I loved the high carb pancake day. This was used more as a refeed but still was great especially when you barely get any carbs

I share your like of decent burgers. Not the junk from a fast food restaurant though, proper home made with quality meat from a local butcher.

My vice if I’m honest - too many carbs. Pasta, bread. Was the same when I was a kid. Some things don’t change……:

I love whole grain pasta. I make scetty or some other "italian" style dish and let it sit for 24 hrs. The whole grains and the sauce...fuckin damn good. I learned to boil it with some bullion appropriate to the meat in the dish and add oil and garlic cloves. I smell great!

Yeah for sure. Whole grain takes some getting used to. But once you have it, it's like going black. You never go back.
I have a bread maker and a dehydrator. I'll dehydrate rando things and run it through a coffee grinder and add it to my bread. Some of my "recipes" if you will have been awesome. I particularly like mixing in dried chilies.

Fruit is my cheat and I eat it everyday lol, which is why I haven’t looked my best but once I’m willing to make the sacrifice, I’ll look pretty good.

Not sure I would say in a "bad way" but if I eat too many fruits I get the toots and I bloat. I would never cut my fruit intake out. If I'm going to eat sweets then I'm eating something that grew on a tree and not a deep fryer.

I rarely go below 13-14% BF, I just don’t feel great at 12%. However I’m in the same mindset as you, I’m not stepping on any stages, I just do this for personal satisfaction and vanity. Although I’m out of shape at the moment, I’m in the best shape of anyone at work. Funny how that works out. Anyway, when I’m on a full cycle, I give myself 2 cheat meals per week, meals, not days. Keeps me happy and healthy, bloods always come back favorable. Saying that, those 2 meals are whatever I want. It’s gotten ugly in the past as I’m a fan of fast food burgers and tacos lol. Enjoy life buddy, none of us know if we’re coming back or going somewhere else after our time here, do what feels good. Within reason of course.

One of my favorite cheat meal/snack is a honey bun with peanut butter. I know it has a ton of sugar but it's high carb/calories and protein. But luckily I have a very fast metabolism and growing up my parents had me on a very strict healthy diet just like Bill commented below and it's.very hard for me to bulk so I need all the carbs I can get honestly.
