Deca while on prescribed TRT

ad

I’m 46 years old. Been on a low dose of prescribed injectable test for three years. Got great results from this as far as over all health, activity levels, energy, sex drive and weight loss. Got back not training in this time. My doctor try’s to keep my levels a little on the high side for my age group. Usually I’m between 500-700 total testosterone. I’ve had two screens that put me over 1,100 and had to go back a few weeks after. I recently started a cycle of Deca. I’m injecting 300 mg of Deca with my 200mg of test. Three weeks in. Already see results in my recovery and slightly in endurance and strength. I used to have to take it pretty easy two out if three routines just to recover enough to push hard on the third routine. Joints feel much better and just feel stronger: was wondering how Deca may affect my PSA levels and free/total test levels. These are the tests my doc runs. Thanks all, and excited to be here to learn.

Depends on the testing method that the lab uses for determining total test. If they use ECLIA then deca will falsely show up as test and your test level will look sky high, if it is LC/MSMS then it won't be an issue.

Thanks, just looked at my last results and all my tests have been done using LC-MS/MS

they typically say to run your test higher than deca but some people can do it either way. I dont think it really AFFECTS your free and total test levels. its just another compound added in. I mean by affect, it might raise your levels a little bit.

Great, thanks man. It’s only been a few weeks and I think I’m noticing the Deca for energy level and recovery. Generally I can only really push hard one out of three times that I do my legs, push exercises or pull routine. Usually still pretty sore and my joints would ache. Haven’t had that happen yet. Pretty new to all of this.
