Understanding HGH dosing
Hello, I'm new to the Hgh circuit. I was prescribed Omnitrope 5.8mg vial by my Doctor. It came with 1ml of bac water or 10iu's. I use 2iu's at bedtime. So each vial held 5 shots for a 5 on 2 off cycle. My math tells me that it is 5.8mg divided 10iu's = .58 x 2iu's = 1.16 of hgh per dose. Is this correct?? OK if I have a a Genotropin pen 5.3mg 16iu, using the same formula 5.3mg divided by 16iu's = .33 i would need 3.5 iu's =1.155 for the same dose. Correct? how many clicks of the 16 iu pen equal 1.155 or close to?
Same question with Genotropin 12mg 36iu pen. I know I made this complicated. In short can any one tell me how many clicks (.5,.6,.7,.8) for each pen equals the same dose of the Omnitrope????? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this.
Thank you for your help>

P2i2tOK, 5.8mg is 17.4 iu of HGH. Just like your 5.3 is 15.9(basically 16) iu's. because every one milligram equals 3iu of HGH.so if there is 1ml of water and you have 16iu of HGH in that 1ml of water and you are trying to get to 2iu of HGH then you would need to take 1/8th of the water contents, or 12.5iu of the total water contents. how many clicks that is I don't know, but that is the math that I came up with anyways. I would need to know how many milligrams or iu's of the water content is utilized with one single click of the pen in order to answer it specifically.hopefully somebody can chime in and help you better.the wording is kind of confusing though to be honest
P2i2tI'm kind of confused where you say "it came with 1ml of bac water, or 10iu's". 1ml of bac water is 100iu's not 10. unless there is something I am missing?to be honest I've never used any pen types except nords. never genos. so I'm kind of clueless here lol
My mistake 100iu is the correct amount of bad water
I have to agree, the post in general is confusing. The IU's are a measure of the actual medicine not the solvent. Also never heard of GH being measured only in mg.
