+ 2 Please read this paper ED vs EOD HGH injections

ad

According to this study EOD injections of HGH is superior over ED shots

Unless I read it wrong and if so please feel free to point it out...respectfully...lol.

I normally do ED and now i am doing more reading on EOD. This is very valuable information on HGH pinning frequency. I may switch to EOD. Thank you for sharing

“None constant igf levels increase the risk that u get diabetic”

I’m assuming you’re saying that fluctuations in igf1 levels cause diabetes? I just want to be sure that’s what you meant before I weigh in on that statement.

Absolute bullshit

Bearded_muscle's picture

Ok I’m going to respectfully call bullshit on that.

We know that hgh increases insulin resistance. We also know that igf1 decreases that insulin resistance.

What I’ve seen anecdotally is that when you pursue ED or even worse multiple shots per day of gh you can and will begin running high blood sugars eventually (assuming we’re using supraphysiological doses and not hrt). This can be combated and in some cases reversed entirely by moving to EOD dosing with no dip in igf1 levels.

You will need to shoot “two days worth” of gh on that schedule, you can’t compare igf1 of 4 iu Ed to 4iu eod it has to be 4iu Ed to 8iu eod to get equivalent effect but I’ve seen better results with this style of administration because the body gets a chance to resensitize to insulin on your “off” day.

Beta cells are only going to stop working properly if you’re bombarding your system with gh 24/7 and not allowing them to recover and rest.

I have been reading more into the insulin resistance from hgh use and am wondering your opinion on the dosing:

Would low doses of GH (2iu or less) still promote insulin resistance? I would assume it would be dependent on the person, but what are your thoughts on it for an average male? Is there a better way to run it than 5 on 2 off and pinning in the morning + fasting for a few hours?

I have also read some people recommending berberine and/or metformin to help remedy the insulin resistance.

BigMac89's picture

2iu won't cause insulin resistance, it won't do much of anything actually

Llujian's picture

2 iu dont make me hypo, 3-4 or more does. 2 iu is a mild and good dose. he won't see much but still something.

Bearded_muscle's picture

If you wanted to run it like that I’d pin the full 2 iu dose first thing and then go do cardio, then have breakfast. The glut4 receptors activated by your cardio will help you when you eat your breakfast and 2iu is very close to hrt. You’ll be fine.

Glucose issues arise more in the 3+ iu users. You shouldn’t need any glucose disposal agents at 2iu provided you aren’t predisposed and you’re eating right. Usually we’re on a slight caloric deficit on gh which also helps prevent issues.

Thanks for the info...I was running 2iu of geno's on a 5 days on 2 days off split - I may have been eating improperly but I also felt like my appetite eventually went downhill (2-3 months in) and my moods were fluctuating a lot (this could have been because of lack of appetite/calories)

In any case, I stopped the GH and within a few days began feeling better again and eating more. I still have 2 pens left and would love to run them but am a little hesitant. weird to me because I have ran HGH plenty before and don't remember those issues - only remember headaches etc when I went way higher like 4-6iu per day.

*normally shoot for ~ 25% protein, 50% carb, 25% fat

Bearded_muscle's picture

I think you protein is low IMO but I don’t know your goals. I’m used to bodybuilders and classic physique competitors. 1 gram per pound of protein and one gram per pound of carbs with fats in the 75-100 gram range depending on size. Ima bout 250 so I do 100 grams fats.

palmetto61's picture

ok yea I have lately been shooting for roughly 1g per pound...I'm about 205 so I shoot for 210-220 but usually just get around 200.

I do a lot of strength training, olympic lifting and some bodybuilding stuff- and a decent amount of conditioning - my job is pretty active too so I do burn through a lot of cals. I like the way I feel mentally on low carb high fat, but lost performance so have gravitated back to low fat high carb.

...I've considered running the rest of the GH on a 2-3 day a week schedule but way higher dose...any thoughts on that?

Bearded_muscle's picture

Yeah blast it on days you’re training lagging body parts to bring them up. I’ve used that alongside taboo to handle the blood sugar issues with high carbs and it will do the trick. It just takes a while to notice because the new cells need to anchor, grow, etc... but it is effective.

palmetto61's picture

ok thanks!..alongside what for blood sugar?

Bearded_muscle's picture

Anything you might be prescribed by your doctor to lower it.

That subject is off limits on eroids. Dangerous to play around with.

palmetto61's picture

just wanted say thanks for advice and to lyk I've been doing 2 days a week, 3.6iu per day (vs. 1.8iu 5 on/2 off) and had far better results.

also fasting for 4-6 hours on the morning of the injections which has helped with overall mood.

only downside is that I feel weaker in the gym on the days I inject, so considered switching to injecting on my 2 off-days. thoughts?
