Can severe supraspinatus tendinitis be cured with GH or a specific peptide?
ad
I have severe supraspinatus tendinitis. I can’t throw a ball or raise my arms above my head without excruciating pain. It affects everything I do but I push myself to do it anyway. I would guess I’m just making it worse. Any suggestions besides surgery? Thanks guys

NotNatural23Take time off from using that first and foremost. Will only make worse and could eventually lead to surgery or a lifelong ailment. There are peptides put there that are suppose to work BP 157 or TB 500. but I would try toblook into to PRP it is sorta expensive cause insurance won't cover it but it has been shown to work. Sometimes tendonitis is so bad surgery is the only answer if you can't afford PRP or stem cell.
GlycogenGuyBrad in what doses are these administered?
GlycogenGuyI just started a new job and won’t have insurance mid July. I’ve had this for probably 20 years. Rest never helped. Test never helped. Some therapy didn’t help. It’s frustrating
Stem cell injections or do the least invasive procedure that can fix the issue.
GlycogenGuyThat shit is like 10k OUCH!
GlycogenGuyThanks Vet. I did save my daughters stem cells.
If you go to long you’ll develop a frozen shoulder. Get with an Ortho asap.
GlycogenGuyFrozen shoulder! That sounds horrible. It must lock up I assume ?
Have you seen a physical therapist, yet?
Depending on the severity of your tendonitis, surgery may be the only option. It's rough...I've seen ortho docs release the tendon with a hammer and chisel.
Internal/External rotation of the affected limb with rubber bands (yellow, green, red and blue), plus an exercise where you invert your thumb down to the ground, while standing, acting like you're pouring a soda pop can out, then raise and lower your arm.
You could use a low amount of weight, or a 2.5 lbs. plate. Your arm of the affected tendon doesn't need to be directly in front of you, or too far out to your side, but more like at two o'clock...
I'd utilize the physical therapy route as well as nutrition to address your issue prior to administering peps or GH, although there are great peps on the market that may be beneficial.
GlycogenGuyI did a little physical therapy but got frustrated with those pussy movements. I think my shoulder bones have a hook that’s rubbing the tendon
The way we are all anatomically made is different. Look up the acromial process. I think that’s right. There are different common shapes, some that cause more problems than others. The way my shoulder is made it pinches my Supra or infra I forget but it’s to the point it’s fraying and tearing. It’s just in the way lol. PT taught me pain free movement and posture. For me getting my shoulders not rounded forward and pushed back helped a lot. My shoulder doesn’t fall out of the socket anymore during lateral raises and I can press light now even with a disadvantageous shoulder bone
GlycogenGuyThat’s similar to me. Mine is being pinched. Makes me in so much pain and it feels like my arms are a 100lbs each
I really found deactivating my traps helps with it too. Mine are pretty overactive so my shoulders move up as well as forward from posture. Once I started focusing on isolating my delts and prioritizing frequent rear delt work I was able to have some refleif
GlycogenGuyThanks Johnny I had my girl rubbing me with a tennis ball. From what you told about acromion I found a YouTube video that tells you a special massage.
Take the tennis ball to ur chest near ur shoulder to loosen up the chest so the shoulder can move back. I also learned the lats have an attachment in the front of the humerus that can tighten up as well
GlycogenGuyThanks Johnny the wifey is about to do that in 10 min.
NotNatural23PT movements are not pussy because they really work those small stabilizer muscles that don't get worked real good with a regular weightlifting routine. The stronger those little muscles are the better off your tendons and ligaments will be and you will get stronger then before. Trust me been through therapy 10 plus times for torn labrum and shredded bicep tendon. I could still do alot with shoulder and had great strength but was in constant pain. only reason I was able to do any of that was PT and working all the little muscles with the tendons and ligaments. unfortunately I still needed surgery but still had aittld bit of a normal life in the gym until surgery. I am still recovery though almost 4 months out. good luck
GlycogenGuyI know it’s just in my mind that is BS but I know it works. I did therapy for 3 months with zero benefits.
3 months seems like a short amount of time to have zero benefits.
GlycogenGuyNo benefits. Maybe the therapist wasn’t that good. Or maybe my injury is worse than expected.
I had a bone spur and calcific tendinitis in my shoulder and had surgery last year. It went really well and I’m totally pain free.
I tried everything to not have surgery, but it didn’t work. Glad ones it done.
GlycogenGuyV did your insurance cover the it
Yes. Still expensive with deductibles and such though.
I lived with it for a king time, but it kept disrupting my sleep (key I think for insurance) so I went ahead with it. They did it arthroscopicly. Very pleased with the result.
