TRT & Test P
Just got back from the doc and after 1 1/2yrs finally found a doctor that agreed that my T is low.....total- 223 <250-1100>.....free- 39.5 <35.5-155.5>. Was getting the run around and the same ole story, you are just about average and if Androgel isn't working low T is not your problem. Anyways the doc prescribed the standard protocol low dose of .50ml test cyp injections twice a week (200ml every 2 weeks). My question is could I add some test prop on top of the cyp to feel better while not seeing him, then a couple weeks before my blood work, just take the cyp and drop my levels back down? Last year I ran a cycle of Sus 250, started out at 2 inj of 125ml a week for 6 weeks, felt better but still no sex drive and irritable. I then kicked it up to 2 250ml inj a week and within 3 weeks it was like you flipped a switch and life was great, sex, my attitude, and my patience. The thing is I am tired of feeling like shit and with the low dose of cyp I don't want to wait 6months or so getting the dosage right with the doctor to feel better. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

what about proviron? i was just thinking out this the other day... isn't it meant to treat adrogen deficiency? wouldnt 50-100mg of proviron ed make you feel a bit better and then you can drop it a few days before your blood test. just a thought, would like to know if anyone has supplemented their trt with it
i think using test p for trt would get old fast with all those shots
On of the sources, I can't remember which one, had some PhenyProp for sale (approx 4 day half life) you could try that twice a week with your cyp to avoid the pin cushion effect.
How long you been on this? takes about 4 weeks to start feeling better. Just to make sure you are taking 200mg per 1ml? You are taking .5 ml twice a week, so you are taking 200mg per week dose? If so that's what I was started out on. I did mine once a week. I think that twice a week will help balance your blood levels out better. I found that 250ml - 300ml per week did better for me. Do you do your own injections or do have to go to the doc for them? If you do increase your dose I would jump up 50mg no more than 100mg a week. Be sure to give it at lease 4 weeks to start seeing any changes in the way you feel. Also unless you are gyno prone you should be ok with what ever hcg, armidex ect you are already own. As always you should be ready to increase if you need to. I would stay with cyp like grrrrl says the esters are the same as what you are on and the release will the same. I hope this help from a Smoken old BA***RD.
AnonLots of the old bastards here (lol) supplement their TRT with either the short or long ester.. it is personal preference. Using test prop you should be able to quickly adjust your dosages to where you are feeling as you should.
tread-mWtf. : (
I made a mistake on the dosage, it's .2ml twice a week. I just want to add the prop to the .2ml of cyp to raise my levels to where I feel good then drop the prop before getting blood work so my levels drop back down. I know the doctor will have to adjust the .2ml but like he said he has to follow standard protocol. My main question is would it be an issue to take both at the same time?
Anonwhy do you want your levels to drop back when you go to the doc... are you trying to get a higher dose prescribed... who said it was an issue to take both at the same time? test prop is quick acting and you will feel it fast.. the long esters take weeks to kick and you won't feel the full effects for 4-5 weeks.. why just .2ml? what is the dosage on the prop? I'd run at least a half a ml if not 3/4 to a whole ml.. what is your reasoning for .2 and how did you arrive at that number?
.2 is what the doc prescribed... I want to get a higher prescription but the doc is starting my at .2ml, he says he has to do it by the book. I dont see him for 3 months, that is why I want to do the prop so I can feel better until i see him then drop my levels and he will up the presciption. I just didn't know if it was an issue to take both.
56tooUnless you get this covered by your ins. and your co-pay isn't off the charts I cld. see going to the hassle of doing all that but you know, what I've come to realize is these doctors either don't know jack shit about this or because of liability issues wont prescribe what u really need. I went through the same shit with my dr..He gives me a shot of test prop in his office and sends me off WTF? I just buy from sources on here and dose myself. The stuff you can get from some of these sources is just as good and when u factor in co-pays from office visits and scripts not to mention the hassle you're better off staying away from them.IMHO
yes that is the whole angle, my insurance does cover this and that is why he has to start at such a low dose. He is good with giving me the prescription and letting me pin myself. I wasted a 1 1/2yrs with other docs but this is the first one that agreed that I was low and his goal is to get my in the highest range possible which put a smile on my face but I guess we'll see how it plays out.
you have to be the squeaky wheel
