I and my two relatives have used Testim. I've been on almost every form of TRT. If you find my posts you'll see that. Pellets, shots etc.

Testim takes longer to dry but chicks love the smell. Androgel extra strength is awesome bc it dries instantly. But.. My insurance no longer covers either. So shots for me.

Androgel and Tesim always kept me high 800's with two tubes. But that's a lot of sticky annoying daily apps. Shots more, 1000^

Rubbing a tiny amount of any test gel on daily can still shut you down and keep you at low levels, worse than you started. More harm than good.

Alot and I mean lots who try gels sometimes forget a daily app or put it on at all diff times day and night, so this def can cause you to test really low. Especially if you don't apply the day of your blood test. My Urologist said you will def test low with all the above. It needs to be applied daily, ED at the SAME time for a steady dose like your natural body would. Mess this up and yes you test very low. This is why gel is a pain in the ass. Not counting the price.

Shots.. If you can handle needles and pinning, it's cheaper, less hassle and the results are great.

Don't rub gels on the boys and especially the penis. It can actually absorb quickly and the alcohol will burn the hell out of your urethra. Also it can cause you a yeast problem by messing with your natural flora as per my Uro. And I'm sad to admit, my own experience. I peed fire for two weeks after such a stupid move and after my Uro ruled out STD's I told him what I did. Ha

I tried testim gel for 7-9 months or so and had almost no real progress with it at all..... My test levels were below 250 and I really only saw maybe a 340 level at best after faithfully using the gel 1% testim.... I did feel a ittle bit better as far as being not as tired during the day and my libido increased a little bit but that may have been in my head too after meeting a cute younger girl that loves the shit out of me! Still struggling to get all the right meds..... Having continued issues with weak erections and sometimes very difficult to obtain any real erection! Just a fat limp dick that doesnt want to cooperate??? Very strange though because sometimes my stuff works just fine and I get hard a feel confident and have good sex??? Other times its downright frustrating and embarrassing. Good to get older and not give a shit what others think and you can come out of the box with some of this. Thats helped me more then anything I think? My girl is good with it??? She likes the challenge of getting me good and hard so I can bring it home to her... :-) Still wish things were normal plus I feel old as shit! Im 48 but feel like im 60 or something.... No energy and weak.... get depressed easily... tired lots of the time.... It sucks. Im taking test C injections but need to find out what else my body needs because this isnt working by itslef... definitely have gyno!! Balls are tiny as shit! Must be producing too much estrogen because my hair and face is extremely oily??? IDK man. I am very new and looking for answers myself but figured my story might help or encourage you in some way or another man.... good luck!

Not a big fan of TRT,,was on them all at one time or another,,On Androgel 1.62 now,, Between the doctors cost and the lab work,,even with insurance,,not to price effective,,every 3 months ,doctors ,blood work,, And to be honest I think it gave my gyno,,

I did 2 tubes a day, it gave me gyno, and never got my level above 450. I inject 120mg a week of test c and I levels around 900 with no complications

I was in the low - mid hundreds before I started TRT. I never got out the 200's with either Testim or Androgel. Thats why my insurance approved Test Cyp injections.

I take some testim as well hiwever I make one tubenkast at least 5 days I rub a pea sized amount in each delt and down my bicep. I started getting libido effects the 3rd day. I also take Axiron with the testim

I used androgel for two years (1 pack per day)...moved to Testim for the last three years...and take was doing two tubes per day. I prefer testim overall over androgel for two reasons. I was ruining clothes with androgel...there is so much alcohol in it -to dry it-- that if you put your shirt on before it was totally dry, it would bleach out the shirt. The other reason is that testim doesn't burn your skin as much as androgel. With androgel, my chest always looked sunburned.
As far as testosterone delivery, they both work ok. I switched because my insurance carrier made testim the preferred product and my co pay was zero if my doc switched me over.
All that said, I am working with my MD to cut over to (self injected) test cypionate. I have had some inconsistent levels and I think it is because of the spotty transdermal absorption qualities.

I would avoid application to the scotum...the skin there is VERY thin and susceptible to burning from the alcohol in the product. How do I know this? I tried it. not pretty.
