Hey guys. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to HGH. I am also sure that there are others out there wondering the same thing. So is the general consensus to take 2iu's a day for a person 40 or over a good place to start. And if it's is not what is the best place to start. Look forward to hearing from everyone. Cheers Wall

hi wall i'm new at this myself and i'm using 2.5iu's aday and i feel good but when i go on a cycle of test and winny i go up to 4iu's my tone is great good quailty muscle and i'm 50..5'10" 195lb ..i found this site awhile back and because of it i have a good source and lot's of good advice you people really know your stuff thank you very much and have a great christmass to all and your family's..Terry
tread-mI am a 2 IU cruiser myself and of course blast at about 5 on cycle. The two IU cruise is standard and a local hrt doc runs himself and all his patients at 2 with great success. His is even Eli Lilly 5 mg pharma which I would all but kill for! My blast only 2 or 3 times a year ended 25 months ago as I went on blast and cruise and my success has been amazing. IMO over 40 you simply have to have the test cruise at trt levels with your hgh cruise to make proper balance in the axis and allow the even flow of all hormones as a result of stimulation, that includes the catalyst for the whole thing which is your insulin production. If using beyond 2 iu's you will need to incorporate T-4 with your cycle. T-4 is slightly suppressed above 2 and especially above 3 and this stalls T-3 as well given it comes from the conversion of T-4 and this will slow insulin in its final stage. That being the catalyst you will begin to experience bloating and other negative sides in the domino effect. A slow climb with hgh will prevent some of the side effects given there is adjustment time rather than this big start up dose.
I love GH makes me feel like a 20 year old again. I hit the gym/weights 3x a week (Heavy+Hard) + GH helps me recover quicker. I used 2ius, 5on2off for 5months great.
I have gone as high as 5ius with no appreciable difference/benefit.
I generally start my GH cycle with an aas cycle, then continue GH thru PCT + on.
I am currently trying 2ius EOD which I will bump up to 4ius but I am bumping up for Fat burning purposes - I plan on running this for 6-12 months - which I may bump back down to 2ius.
I do not use insulin but I do try to Spike my ENDOGENOUS INSULIN by drinking 80 grms of DEXTROSE/40 Grms of WHEY ISOLATE PROTEIN. It is not insulin but it does the job getting a NITROGEN POSTIVE ENVIRONMENT in a short time.
I do inject 1st thing in the am unless doing more than 2ius which I then split 1st thing am then another aprx 3-5hrs later.
AnonIf you are planning on using GH for anti-aging purposes then I would be very wary of going as high as 2iu/day longterm. If you are using short term for bodybuilding purposes then of course that's quite another matter! In my practice as an anti-aging consultant, I always advise my clients to limit GH use to a maximum of 1iu daily, and often only 0.5iu or less is all that is required. What you must first realise is that the purpose of anti-aging hormonal therapies is to restore levels of those key hormones to the same levels that were present in your 20's or 30's, at which time you were actually only producing around 0.5iu/day of GH. In an anti-aging setting it's really all about hormone balancing, and whether we are talking about GH, testosterone, DHEA, pregnenelone, progesterone, melatonin or thyroid etc, it really is just all about restoring youthfull levels and even more importantly restoring those levels in balance with each other. I myself use 1iu of GH daily and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. I would probably happily use only 0.5iu if I was using pharma grade, however the GH that our community has access to is generally under dosed, so 1iu of this grade by injection seems pretty close to the 0.5iu produced by the pituitary. Another important point is when to inject, and from most of the stuff that I read on forums, bodybuilders often seem to get it wrong ....but then that's another story!
jasonhQuick question for ya gazzer early in the year i ran gh at 3iu a day i allways have had trouble sleeping and sleep meds are out(addiction issues)i noticed i slept wonderfully on gh and did my injection before bed(witch i know ya dont approve of) if i take injection in afternoon or morning will i still get sleep benift? havent been sleeping and just ordered some gh
What are your thoughts on dosing female vs male? Any difference?
AnonIf used in an anti-aging scenario then in my opinion there is no difference between male / female dosing, however when it comes to bodybuilding it's really just about the short term results you are after and the degree of side effects that you are prepared to endure, regardless of your sex. Just be aware that the more you take of any particular hormone above and beyond those levels that were naturally occurring in your youth, then the greater the knock on effect that is likely to have on other hormone systems within your body and their production / requirements / overproduction etc. Your body is always seeking to remain in a state of homeostasis and that balance is ultimately what is required to keep you healthy longterm. Yes, GH is good, but too much of a good thing is most definitely bad, at least from a health point of view.
There was another very interesting post on whether to inject sub q, im or iv what are your thoughts on that?
AnonPersonally I would only do sub q. Regards intramuscular, think the main problem would be potentially too rapid or inconsistent release of the hormone. I'm assuming of course that you are referring to injecting im in somewhat greater amounts than used sub q. Regarding iv, count me out man!
AnonMy understanding about injections times is for men to inject early afternoon and for women to inject at night before bed. Since you seem to be knowledgeable about this what are your recommendations and why?
AnonThe only time GH should be injected before bed (in my opinion!) is in cases where the pituitary gland has already totally shut down it's natural production of this hormone. Such a scenario is unlikely before reaching your late 70's or early 80's, although that's just a guideline. For the rest of us (male or female) it is best not to inject our GH before bed as this will only inhibit our natural secretion of this hormone. Best time to inject is morning or afternoon, on an empty stomach and at least 45 mins before ingesting carbs. I'm sure there will be many that totally disagree with this recommendation, however if you want to test it for yourself try the following. If you have been off GH cycle for a while and are about to start afresh, follow the injecting regimen outlined above and with your regular dose. Bet you will find that your sides appear quicker than usual. May even mean that you can use less for the same results since your pituitary is still spitting out its full dose at night!
AnonI'd start off very low .5 for a few days and taper up to where you are going to max at. If you are using for body building you can go up to 5 but for anti aging most people stick around 2. Abnormal has it right first we crawl ..
AnonI've never run over 2iu's. Go ahead and laugh at my sissy arse but check my pic at 48 you little fuckers....LMAO now! Yes the Test is hitting me so I won't take it back! I ran 1.5 for 5 days on and two off for 6mo with great results. I just started 2iu's 7 days on 7 weeks ago and felt the sides of joint pains and carpel issues with are now subsiding. With AAS or anything: first we crawl, then we walk and then we run. Crawl is my experience and opinion here you can always walk then run later :-)
Yeah cheers mate. I did a cycle of hgh at 2iu's a very long time ago with a big cycle of aas at the same time. It was back in the 90's that I did it all. I was asking formyself as well as others out there that are thinking the same thing also. Cheers
