What helps you get through the hard times?

Currently moved to a different state. Have a lot on my plate of life.
I was just wondering what everyone does here to clear their mind and get calm. Life's been throwing me curve balls and I've struck out every time. What do you guys do besides hit the gym to find some peace of mind?

AnonI try not to focus on where I'm at but where I going. I watch motivational speechs by athletes and entertainers I admire. I focus on others who have it much worse (people who walk 10 miles in other countries for clean water). I reinforce positive thoughts and actively dissolve negative thoughts out of my psyche. I play with my dogs, make music and bone my chich. Good luck mate
scootertrampAnything outdoors. A good cigar, hiking, running the dogs.
AnonI try to remind my self I have been through tough spots before and Ive made it through. Its hard when its happening, but look back and chances are you will remember being tested in the past. It hurts it sucks and its an uphill battle, but you will move forward !
That and sex, sex helps me forget about everything, even if its with my self ;)
Thanks for the feed back guys. Yeah I'm going to find something that gets my mind off things. and to @hypnoso damn man, you've put things into a prospective . Thanks everyone again.
Find a hobby man draw, read, write find inspiration in others. I have found myself after hitting rock bottom and going threw hell. I bought a Harley and man that helps clear my head.
I'm a really big dork in my spare time. I collect old baseball cards, coins, currency. Crap like that. I get my bike out as often as possible and ride for a few hours. That's probably the most therapeutic thing I do personally.
Man just look back at all the shi- i've already been through, and know that if I stick with it, it will never be that bad again. 13 years in prison form 17to 30, so now I just think of how much better life is and how I will never put myself in that situation again!
GearofWarYup, I think you've got everyone trumped bro. Things don't get much worse than relinquishing 13 years of your life to a 6'X9' room made of concrete, iron, and steel. Thanks, but No thanks.
CleyonEspecially THOSE 13 years! I can't imagine what it would be like to spend your 20s with not a single female in sight!
CleyonI like to read, I actually read a LOT. It's a great way ti obsorb yourself in something other than your own life. Also a book lasts a LOT longer than a movie.
V-Power-AThey say that there are 2 things that can make a difference in life: the people you meet and the books you read.
