This outta get some eroiders riled up one way out another. Its been in every news cast I've watched allweek so I thought it fitting to post about.
If it were my kid, yes I would be outraged.
With that being said I just wish that if the media were going to blast this every hour on every channel they could paint a bit more accurate picture of who the people were instead of half truths. Everytime I see pictures of these two its a picture if a 10yr old boy next to the hispanic dudes mug shot. This kid was nothing like the pic on tv. He was 17, tatted up with fucking gold teeth. Now I'm not saying he shouldve been shot! It just pisses me off that its portrayed as that he was only shot because he was a black kid wearing a hoody n eating skittles in a southern neighborhood.
This kid wansnt an angel, his family has deleted his twitter account as soon as the story hit national headlines. His twitter account name was no limit nigga and made alot of comments in regards to selling dope, and fighting. At the time of his murder he was kicked out of school and staying with his father, thats why he was in that particular neighborhood in the first place.
Did he deserve to be killed? I highly doubt it. It did the same shit growing up in flint,MI. I can say that and not give two shits cause I dont live there anymore. In case youve never heard of flint,mi its the most violent city in the usa and its only 100,000 and shrinking. I did ALOT of crime related shit growing up. The people I surrounded myself did as well. Alot of this kids friends were gang bangers. Was he? Who the fuck knows. My point in writing this is it pisses me off that the media portrays this as an innocent baby murdered simply because he was black and in a white neighborhood. Then they throw up a pic of him when he was 10 wearing a hollister shirt

Agree, you have people protesting that were not their, do not have the whole investigation facts, just media hype that make signs and hit the streets, well their is more underlying issues with these people, they beleive everything the media hypes up what a bunch of non thinking small minded basic dumb people, they don't have proof, facts evidence, but I can make a sign and shout racist murder because a tv said so, the earth would benefit from total elimination of these genetic brain mutated species. I personally have known all kinds of good guys that didn't deserve to die; but are still currently pushing up daisies. The media, & Obama could give a shit about them. In some cases, it's been less than a year, & they are all but forgotten. Made the news for a few days, that's it! This kid doesn't seem to be a big loss though. So I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it... I'm honestly surprised that the media isn't blaming this on the Tea Party
I think if they thought they could, some of them would be. Funny thing is, just a few days ago, another black kid (20 yrs old and a bac of >.16) was killed when he confronted a homeowner on his porch after the cops had been called for excessive noise. The kids dad has been trying to jump on the bandwagon, even going so far as accusing the homeowner of "executing my son" but the media aint touching it at all.
Some things the media has failed to mention, according to the initial police report (available at sanfordfl.gov) there were SIX witnesses. The DA after reviewing statements declined prosecution, as he felt it would not be prosecutable against a self-defense defense. Now the media loves a bloody story, so they whipped it up, and people jumped on the bandwagon. Only problem being now, like the Duke Lacrosse players incident, the truth is coming out little by little, that little innocent Trayvon was not so little or innocent. And the bigger problem for the media is Obama jumped on the wagon with his "if I had a son he would look like him" comments... all well and good until the gangsta/thug stuff starts coming out. Now they have no choice but to either do all they can to crucify Zimmerman, or let Obama's words come back to bite him... the LAST thing the media wants is an Obama soundbite of "if I had a son, he would look like him" being overlaid on pics of Trayvon with his gold grill, tats, and twitter and FB comments about dealing drugs, fighting, etc.

I should be able to say whatever the fuck I want and have it be perceived as the way it was meant and not be branded as racist because I'm white. I shouldn't have to put a disclaimer in front my statement like "not trying to sound racist but...."
