Today is the day of the fork for btc

Today is the day for the fork that is happening with btc. There has been alot of anticipation and alot of anxiety about what is actually going to happen.
Well we now have btc and bcc as of 120pm
Im not sure what time zone.
Btc is sitting a little above 2800$ I haven't seen the cost of bcc yet.
Im going to be paying attention to this today and through the week.
Edit price of bcc is sitting just below 300$

Anyone who had bitcoins before the fork realize yet that you have Bitcoin cash waiting to be claimed?
There is a safe and simple way of claiming them (as an alternate speculation investment like etherium classic and litecoin) or you can convert them to bitcoin if you wanted too.

ETA: Being allowed to discuss BitCoin as an investment tool and NOT talk about BitCoin as a payment method can be a little tricky.

It will be interesting over the next few weeks to see if cash hangs in there or tanks. Personally I've shifted more towards litecoin and ethereum.
Those are definitely 2 also for investment but I believe that bcc and btc will both climb in value especially bcc because everyone is going to buy in
I'm not too worried.
Over the fork, no neither am I. My thinking is that in the future, one or two currencies will win out and be used exclusively and Im just not sure it will be bitcoin. Then again it could be and I will have missed the boat, its a gamble
I believe that btc will be the bigger money coin and bcc will be a smaller money coin.
Will see though both could shoot up in value i believe that bcc will definitely climb fast because everyone is going to buy in at the beginning
Yea, ypu could be right. Im thinking of buying a little more bcc to add to my split but we'll see what happens with the price.
