Bumble bee tuna price fixing

I know most of us eat alot of tuna in our diets. It looks like we have been getting robbed by bumble bee tuna.

Very much agreed brother! I changed it up years ago! Although I still occasionally eat tuna, sardines are my go to! A nutritionally superior food Imo!
I ditched canned tuna and started going with salmon instead. More omega 3s and calcium and it taste better
There is a 3 step process for eating canned salmon that is better than anything else.
1 punch holes in can.
2 put can in crab trap
3 eat the crab.
AnonThis sounds dumb but dont knock it untill you try it. The best way to cook salmon aside from a wet mosquite wrap on the grill is to put it in aluminum foil with your seasoning of choice, wrap it tight and stick it in the dish washer without soap or dirty dishes for a whole wash cycle. Comes out pretty damn good

AnonAnother thing with bumblebee tuna is the mercury content, I am not sure how reliable the source is or the fact behind it, but it is something that has generated a lot of talk over the product for a while now. I still eat it a few times a week.

I've read about this also. I would assume that the fda has a acceptable mercury level which is most likely ridiculously high

I don't know much, but I learned in microeconomics 101 that price fixing affects the prices of competitors as well, screwing over the consumer. Hopefully, now that BB Tuna has been caught, the price of tuna will drop across the board. That would be nice.
