My goddaughter just left home got her first year at college. I want to get here a real bean bag but just like everything these days, they all garbage. They are all filled with foam. Does anyone know anyplace that sells bean filled bean bags ?

Modern bean bags aren't engineered for real beans and will require approximately 400-450 pounds of beans. They come with expanded polystyrene beads (EPS), expanded polypropylene beads (EPP), or compressed foam. You can fill your own with buckwheat hulls like the pillows but the lining has to be superthick. Sorry. The old ones from us growing up had more of the poly beads. Ive ripped many lol. You are thinking of the mini beans bags in school you could throw. Poly beads bags would be better than foam though.
Yeah I guess it’s been a while. Foam just don’t seem right.
