The freedom of down voting can not be 100% freedom, there has to be an option of having it objected by mods because if it was not the case then who is to stop you from down voting every post of someone you don't like?

Let me just throw out something. I've been here for quite a while now. I've known a couple of these guys before they were mods and honesty, you really can't find guys that care more about people, the site,and the lifestyle than they do. These are the kind of bros who spend hours upon hours helping people out, keeping sources in check, and cleaning up shit messes, and have done for a very long time. Anyone who has spent any time here can easily see that. The only complaints I see are guys that show up, expect to troll the shit out of the place, or feel entitled to unearned respect.
These guys do this shit because they are passionate about the lifestyle. Are they human? You bet your ass they are. Well with the exception of Viking, and yeah, they'll have days that they won't take it as easy on bullshit, just like the rest of us. So if you are new around here, I invite you to kick back learn, show respect, and have a good time. Take some time to see that these guys are doing a hell of a service for everyone but themselves.

Why is this thread even alive again? Is there confusion? If ANYONE gets downvoted for no god reason ,the person doing it had better explain themselves or this will happen. Most cases it's actually accidental. This wasn't. It was blatant disrespect. He had a chance to talk it out, chose this route. Every other mod here has been an advocate of the same practice. So, who's confused?

Bottom line is this is a website that generates income by users and page views. When a new user gets run off because one if the mods didnt like what he said or didn't like what he said to one of his buddies, you start losing income. As much as you would like it to be, this is not anyone's personal website.
The way I view his threat to me and to the OP is the same as an asshole cop threatening to arrest you, just because he can. He has that power, doesn't really give a shit, and can fuck you over if you piss him off and don't kiss his ass.
I've done nothing wrong. I have not violated any of the rules with my post. I will continue to recommend this website to aquaintances. Threaten me, laugh at me, cuss me out all you want, I'm still going to state my opinion as I should be able to without fear of repercussions.
