Surround Sound suggestions?

I have an 82 inch Mitsubishi hdtv and Im looking to get a surround system for it. Anyone have any good suggestions in the price range of around $700-$1000? Im looking at the brands Fluance or Definitive Technology, but Im trying to look around and do my research first.

DUDE your tv is retarded big you lucky guy. You know they say Bose is the best but I recommend anything LG they make OUTSTANDING sound systems
GearofWarFunny you mentioned Fluance. I loved my Fluance surround system. I thought I was one of the only people that had ever heard of let alone bought Fluance! The only reason I sold them was because I had kids and didn't want them getting crushed by the giant floor-standers. Go with the Fluance. Big sound for not a lot of cash.
thx for the input man. The setup im looking to buy is $1000 so Im hoping its worth it.
GearofWarI think you'd be pleased. You MAY have to invest in a better sub-woofer. I did years ago when I purchased my fluance. Had a Mirage Prestige s10 sub and it slammed.
