Where is the message button on eroids page? I go to my email and check it that way? Am I just looking over it from the main eroid page?

It's right there with your username and Sign Out buttons, top-right. If you click the mail icon it'll take you to your pmbox.
If you wanna pm someone, visit his profile (click on the username) and then "Send this user a message".
