You know the guy that you reported is black ? Yes, it’s a blatant use of the word and I agree it shouldn’t be used but here in America, blacks use the word all the time.
I'm black aswell, doesn't matter to me. I don't use the word, don't like to be called it by white or black friends and don't understand why black people use it.

According to the Wokism/Marxist handbook, one would be cultural appropriation and the other would be racist. You simply can't have that bizarre behavior. One has to go to their safe place, the other needs to seriously think about their privilege. Segregation is a good thing.

Back in the 70's the N word wasn't taboo as much as it is now. Among my black friends to poke fun at each using racial slurs actually bonded our relationships creating trust. Whe words had no power to offend. Actions and context did.
Today, giving power to the words has actually limited speech, created discomfort and distrust and widened the gap between us. Friends don't walk on eggshells around each other.
Neighborhood i grew up in we were mixed whites and blacks and it was used all the time. I didn't mind my white friends using it because that was the language, some chose to say dude some say bro some say cuz and some say ni**a. They all meant the same thing. Its different someone hating and yelling it out the window as an insult but any insult yelled at us would be offensive. I cant stand when people want to repeat it and substitute it. I say, thats 20x worse just say the word, whats the big deal?! You are using it as an insult so just say the damn thing. All in the family was my favorite show, it addressed exactly what todaybis trying to tuck under a rug. Its a word!

You have to have the mental capacity to differentiate serious conversation and malice vs. genuine comedy. Whether dark or not, the context is extremely important.

Racism isn’t inherent for saying a sentence or word. The intention, person, context, situation, recipient, and many other factors have to be looked at before accusing said party of “blatant racism”.
