I clicked yes, and I’ll explain why. He broke a law. Pretty sure he knowingly did it, and probably breaks that same law daily. Is he guilty of declaring a payoff as a business expense? Yes. Now I’m not a lawyer and certainly don’t know all the details, and I think he did an outstanding job as president, but it sounds like guilty to me. Moving on from that, as it’s a law that essentially has no victim, let the guy pay a fine and move on. And I’m not talking a multimillion dollar one, slap him with a $500 penalty and let’s all get on with our lives. The issue that pisses me off to the highest degree, is the shit Biden and his Son are getting away with. Let’s see a real trial of those two crooks.

Given that real estate is a speculative business & the value of any property is just like that of a used stamp or a baseball card; it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
However, I am certain that excepting money from the Ukraine & Chinese governments, using executive power to directly interfere with presidential elections & using political capital to bury a criminal investigation into your family that has very serious national security concerns - these things are illegal. And of course there are the many blatant violations of the 1st amendment & the illegal jailing of citizens & press members. I mean, the dude has been high level politician for half a century & he has accomplished nothing of note. There’s no mystery here.

So yea, it's pretty clear cut: The dude falsified business records while making payments intended to cover up information that was damaging to his campaign, and the evidence was so overwhelming that all the jurors agreed on every single charge, even the juror who Trump thought would be 'on his side' since it was known they watch conservative news.
Honestly man I see people here supporting him and each give their own personal reasons, but I will simply never understand the appeal, and I'm not delusional enough to waste my time thinking I'll change anyone's opinions. The one little thought I'll leave is here: Trump does not share this community's values of fitness, body-improvement, and pushing past limits that we all strive for. He's an obese makeup-wearing old man who was born into unimaginable wealth never having to struggle for anything, and is quoted saying that 'exercise is a waste of time because we only have so much energy like a battery'. And he was still found guilty on all 34 counts by 12 jurors that trumps legal team helped pick out of hundreds of people. You guys also know full well he tried to overturn an American presidential election. His supreme court and federal judge Eileen Cannon have kept those cases from going to trial. Trumps first option was just to pay it with cash, which would have ended it but when Cohen said "I got it" he's taking the responsibility for how it's going to be handled. Despite the payment being political and personal, the issue and payment were mitigated and mediated by a lawyer to protect his client from legal ramifications, a legal payment.

So now they are ruining farm land in Maryland builidng town houses so people can communte from Urbana/Fredrick MD area to DC.
