Ronnie Coleman on Rogan

ad

So I’m surprised Joe didn’t call him out on this, but Ronnie just said he walked around at 3% and was 0.33% for a show.

I know the dude is a legend, but do you think he was fed bad info or is he just making shit up at this point?

I’m not a doctor (clearly) but I’m fairly certain you’d be dead at 0.33% bf.

I also don’t know that I’m buying the fact that he didn’t start taking bodybuilding seriously until after his first Olympia win. If that’s true I’m glad I’m not a bodybuilder, cuz I’d have to throw all dreams out of the window right now.

Spark's picture

I stopped watching Ronnie once he stopped competing and his injuries got worse.
This is the way I want to remember him. Think this is from the video of his where he is a couple of wks out from Mr. O show.

Ol Ronnie is stretching the truth in his old age , Oh well no matter he has earned it.

On a second note though how in the hell after 13 or 14 surgeries is he not like mentally disabled from all the anesthesia.

Spark's picture

His body for past 20 + yrs has been like a fully stocked Pyxis Medstation.

Micheal Jackson used anesthesia every night as a sleeping pill..,until karma caught up with him..,serial pedo.

Have you got a link to Ronnie on cops? I’ve looked with no luck

I never seen him on Cops. Did see him in uniform and working in one of his training videos.

Still cant believe after decades they cancelled Cops and Live PD. The narrative is now to eliminate the police.
Can't show what LE really does which Live PD did a great job. Only negative clips of police are allowed in the media.

GrowMore's picture

It’s a great show, they show it occasionally here in the UK.

Was a great show but now cancelled. Now all LE is evil to these people. They will see how much they need the police as the police keep calling out sick and start refusing calls to these communities that are against them.
They forget real quickly how many hours cops put in during the virus and now to deal with riots and being killed, attacked, and criticized no matter how well they do their job.

GrowMore's picture

I agree mate, it’s a sad turn of events all round. The media have a spinned the whole thing into a hate brigade, all the common man hating each other rather than focusing their attention on the bigger problems at hand.

Its how politicians and government keeps the important issues..,poverty, jobs, having food to eat, homelessness, substance abuse and mental health, their criminal and corrupt activities, etc.,etc.

Just have the media keep us divided and fighting each other. If its race, political views, or religious believes.
If people would think for themselves they would realize we have a lot more in common. And that our anger should be against the media, corrupt politicians and government officials, shady Wall Street, and big pharma, big industry, etc.
Those are the people that make the rules and keep the people down, angry, and anxious.
It is pathetic that in the US they don't take care of the average citizen. No reason one of the richest and most powerful countries should have the srs issues listed above. And they don't even properly take care of our veterans.

Now I don't care about politics and am not some type of hippie. But the fact is to keep the peoples focus off them and keep us fighting each other.

Were are getting to a tipping point because the media is going to keep pushing their narrative.

GrowMore's picture

It’s the same in the uk in my humble opinion.

Here we are squabbling while this kind of shit slips through the net. I wonder which MP’s son owns this company. What a disgrace.

Yo boss. Just a heads up cuz I don't want you getting banned or docked. We gotta keep any political shit to the hidden forums in private groups. I dunno if this counts, but just to be safe.

Greg's picture

This is more of a social commentary and not a political one.

I agree, when you take a deep breath, step back, what I'm being told doesn't match what I see and experiance in the real world.

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

"A more perfect union" implies that the progress of the American experience is never complete. As long as we're still focused on the goal, we are alway going to evolve for the better. In spite of the ultra left, ultra right, anarchists, "woke" media talking heads, and virtue signaling corporations.

I am not willing to say, at this point of the Journey, that we are done and we suck.

You’ve already survived the Great Depression. This is nothing compared to that. ;)

Lmao

I bet his coworkers loved having him as back up. I bet every time he arrested somebody they didn’t even try to fight. Maybe run.

“Ok dude, I’ll do whatever you say... just put some fuckin pants on please.”

DfromPhilly's picture

Well, if he never come off I guess it’s not a lie exactly haha.

DfromPhilly's picture

Ah. I gotta finish listening to it. Yea I don’t know that I buy that either. Then again I guess it depends on his definition of crazy. He is a freak of nature tho, so I guess you never know. Seems unlikely tho.

DfromPhilly's picture

Definitely freak genetics. He had 22” arms in college supposedly. I’ll never have arms that big even if I wanted them that big.

Nicolai's picture

I'd say 3 % is not unbelievable for 8 time Olympia winner, Ronnie Coleman. However, 0.33% reminds me of Andreas Munzer...and that proved fatal.

DfromPhilly's picture

No 3% is not unbelievable for him at all. On stage tho. You can’t walk around at that % year round. That was his claim. That he was 3% in the off season.

IrishMack's picture

You can safely drop to 2% body fat as long as your diet is healthy. Anything below that you risk a lot of issues. Him saying he was .33% is definitely bullshit

Gh0st's picture

2% with a healthy diet.. According to what or whom?

Check medical texts.. It's not unhealthy but it's not sustainable

Lots of articles say no others say yes with consequences

https://inbodyusa.com/blogs/inbodyblog/is-it-healthy-to-have-a-low-body-...

https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/Health/Wellness/texas-wo...

Gh0st's picture

I’ll look for more medical texts than what I’ve already read and am educated on.. which say otherwise. Ultimately very low body fat (usually in the context of anorexia nervosa), but also BMI regardless of cause, carries one of the highest mortality rates of any other condition. Certainly the highest when it comes to Anorexia and psychiatry.

Those links really aren’t relevant bro.. Give me some real evidence behind your claims.

IrishMack's picture

Just Google it I seriously do not have the time or energy to debate scientific facts that you can live with 2% body fat although they say it's unhealthy you can still live. we live in a society now where the world is at our fingertips why do I have to do all the research?

Gh0st's picture

Neither do I lol so we shall agree to disagree. I’ll take my education over a google search.

That being said no hard feelings of course. You train hard af as I’ve seen you here over the years and I don’t doubt you are knowledgeable. Keep working bro

Thanks you just took the lead right out of my pencil LOL

DfromPhilly's picture

Lol that’s how debates should always end! Wish I could thumbs up both of ya.

No homo. I dunno why but I feel like I needed a no homo.

blackjack115's picture

The way Ronnie talks these days I think the opioids made him somewhat fuzzy.

Spark's picture

People dont realize Ronnie is addicted to and high AF on painkillers. And he is obv. taking more then the dr prescribed for his chronic pain. He has been making insane statements for a while now.
Truly sad.

SL's picture

I think he was sub 5 on stage but definitely not .33 that is dead lol

DfromPhilly's picture

Yea I’d definitely believe 3-4% on stage and 6-8 off season, but 0.33 and 3 is absurd.
