Guy was an older pioneer...best biceps...competed til old and still looked amazing. I looked up to him as well as his down to earth personality.

Impressive. Apparently he stayed lean year round and lifted moderate weight, high rep. There may be something to that.
Some folks grow like that! Labradas workouts were medium full pump and did him well. Me...I gotta go to the end or I don't grow. Good point is experiment style. If it was easy then we'd all be yoked
The man had god level biceps. I mean overall he was the whole package, but the fukn biceps.... Fuck.
You're right. We are all built different. I get injured way too easy so I cant lift too heavy. I always shoot for 15-20 reps, but I will do as many sets as it takes to get to failure.
Boom!!! Knowing your body make extras so much better
Almost made it to 100. What a life!
I know little about him, but what I do know is all good. Gonna have to do some reading. RIP
He stayed in great top shape. Live interviews he was always humble. And where others retired he went into masters divisions. Was just a good dude to see as a young bodybuilder. Real inspiring
