Have a question, besides this post talking about this rule, where is it posted? I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything and reread the “user rules” and didn’t see the 8 source review limited mention.
It makes sense, but I don’t see anyway to know about it till you break it or read about someone breaking it.

It's constantly active and watching mate, always counting back 1 year from todays date. If you go over 8 reviews within the last year then your name automatically appears here.
Am I still correct in thinking that if you do 2 reviews for the same source within a 6 month time period then the Source doesn't receive the votes that you cast for the second review?
Yes, only your latest vote counts towards the score, and the vote is only valid for 6 months.
Ahh okay, so the Vote only counts for a certain period of time and then drops off. That makes sense - otherwise if it was a compounding total vote system then sources could get way ahead of the rest and never be caught so to speak.
Does products reviews count in this or just source reviews?

Honestly i counted my reviews that i have done on my profile. I should be at exactly 8. Then end of September i should drop another. And then i should drop another beginning of Oct. And drop another end of Oct.

Bud, all you have to do if you decide or want to do a promo is look in your reviews section - count the number of reviews that fall between todays date and the same 1 year back. If you count 8 reviews then don't enter any promo's as you are at your Max yearly quota.
Been there mate, it sucked but you’ve taken it a lot better than I did. Totally my fault as didn’t check the rules and wrote reviews for paid orders then review owed for promo after being blacklisted! Not my finest hour! You’ll build your karma back in no time I’m sure mate.

I'm not going to argue with greg or bfg. But i think getting in over 8 reviews a year isn't all that difficult even with bloodwork where applicable. I get igf numbers for different gh's done 4 times a year, it's not that difficult to run 4 different brands of test with blood work whether it's just trt doses or actual cycles and then there's e2 managing drugs. Throw in things like orals, PWO injectables, peptides or other ancillaries and you could get over 8 reviews pretty easily. Not my site so not my rules. But i think with things like peptides becoming so much more common place the idea of revisiting the max allowed reviews could probably be reconsidered.
Liberal review counts fosters GTG reviews and source shills trying to move them up the ranks.
Why do people think they need to keep reviewing the same product or source every month if nothing has changed? Make good quality, informative reviews when they matter.
All other comments can be made on the SI page, or gear photos. Nothing stopping anyone from making their gear photos "review like" and interactive.
Since this is active again I can see one main point that hasn't been addressed just an opinion I think with the review limit it can also come down to harm reduction when it comes to just running compounds, cycles etc... way to many people putting emphasis on gear and not to concerned with there health, nutrition and recovery.. one pretty concerning example is kids running tren or dudes running it with there first cycle.. I've even seen dudes using halo for absolutely no reason with no competition or plans to compete like wtf...lol
I’m not arguing with the rules either but I totally agree. I switch sources on things time to time depending on deals (especially gh) and there is a lot of things someone who uses frequently (not just gear but growth, peptides, glp1, t3/clen, ai’s, caber etc.) can be trying that is accurately measured and not effecting the authenticity of said review. I feel if you’re reviewing the same shit over and over yea that’s promo whore behavior, but realistically I can review 3-4 gh sources, some sources I’ve used on a wim for random shit that was not in stock with the my usual rotation. Orals I have tried from multiple sources ( all I’m mentioning are paid not promos) and have my opinions on them individually. I totally get people abusing the promos it makes total sense, that’s ridiculous and can get someone to try and avoid paying. But I’ve been paying for countless things on here, and actually the promos have gotten me to actually purchase from the sources that give them if I have good feedback

10 would be better I think. 8 honest reviews a year for someone really living the lifestyle, and especially if running GH isn’t hard to do. And this isn’t 8 promo reviews a year, which is excessive, this is 8 total reviews even if you haven’t joined any promos.
Not sure any amount of reviews should warrant an instant karma strip. Obviously there’s is a threshold that’s just unrealistic, but that’s definitely higher than 8. I would hope the mods would just look at the reviews. It’s easy to tell if someones reviews make sense, line up time wise vs someone who’s just whoring themselves out for free gear.
I would agree with that. I've def had some promos over the last year I've obviously done reviews for. But there have been multiple things I purchased that I could have left reviews for but didn't because I was either close or at the line for reviews. I'm sure there was a reason they dropped the total allowed from 10 to 8 whenever that was. A mod going over each review would be nice. But that's probably a lot of time to do and there would have to be a set of base standards to meet instead of it all being at the discretion of whoever reviewed the reviews.
Question for experts: A whore who has more than eight reviews(like 9 over) in the current year is punished, correct? What determines whether someone gets kicked out or loses karma? I didn't get it yet. Because some people have been banned, while others have not.
A simple exceeded review count will typically be stripped karma. Multiple offenses will get you negative karma. Fuck you attitudes might get you banned for a day or two. Starting to troll the source, spamming, creating several accounts, doxing, collusion with a source or others can get you permanently banned.
If someone thinks he's going to be clever and create a second account, the older account is banned. If that becomes the MO to get around reviews, all accounts are banned. A banned account doesn't necessarily mean the person is gone. Just ask Rusty.

When did the rolling year start? It seems that this rule was implemented after the year began, but I'm not sure.
From today's date a rolling year started exactly one year ago today. Tomorrow, it will be exactly one year ago from tomorrow's date.
