Pants - Thighs too big for "stylish Jeans"

ad

My last cycle my thighs/glutes got so big I had to quit working them every week cause my pants wouldn't fit. I can't wear workout pants everywhere! Levis carpenter jeans is what I have to wear now since, Lucky, Express, Guess, and a number of other brands are too tight. I'm not walking around with jeans that look like it took me 20 mins to get over my thighs and ass and looks like I wear tampons cause they're so tight.

I know there have to be others with this prob cause I'm only 6'3" and was 248 at the time. Just started my cycle and want to work legs but need some pants to wear first. Any input is appreciated! Thanks

Yeah I know what you mean. Hate to bitch about good genetics, but I walk by the squat rack and my glutes and quads grow. My solution is levis loose fit. I get the leg tapered so they dont look like bell bottoms. They look pretty normal I guess. Cant do the nut huggers! Gotta let my boys breathe!

I feel your pain. I have not been able to get into jeans for years.. My X would try to get me into them all
the time. Aint happening.. Holidays Im stuck wearing sweats..( way cool..- not ). There is no way I'm going be spending $150 on a pair of jeans to wear them 1-2 times a year.

Have you looked into trying a larger waist then having the tailor take the waist in? Alterations aren't that expensive. A size 38 will have much bigger thighs than say a 32. Denim with a bit of stretch might help too. Not saying skinny jeans, but brands like Se7en their denim is a bit stretchy even on their relaxed fits. They'll stretch and loosen up permanently after a few wears.

When you find a solution let me know. I think I could manage better if my ass wasnt so big. Thank god I have small balls - I couldn't imagine such a problem with what was hanging before the juice.

I'm just curious as to what this actually looks like and as a woman do I have something to be concerned about ....?

Lol...I was referring to tight pants in general and making a reference to women with the tampons thing cause I don't think skinny jeans on men are very manly. No offense to men who wear them just not my style. The other question....No keep wearing the tight pants cause they're hot!

kodiakGRRL's picture

lmao.... all my jeans are tight so I was a bit concerened for a moment that my old man wasn't telling me something o-o ..lol.. as for skinny jeans on men...no thank you ... maybe if you are French ... you might be able to pull that off

alayna's picture

btw skinny jeans on men is NOT HOT! Men should never wear skinny jeans! Ever!

I have big legs, so the regular jeans they sell now look like skinny jeans on me.

alayna's picture

lol Big legs are so sexy on a man and when they have such big legs you cans see it in his jeans and thats super masculine.... to me anyway

alayna's picture

Gap relaxed fit...you may need to buy them on line bec you need a 34 inseam and generally they are hard to find in the stores....i know this cause my son is 6'4 and weighs about the same as you not cause i wear them.

emac83's picture

I wear Levi carpenter jeans too, they're the only jeans that fit normal. I just ordered a few pairs of Levi 569, which are a loose straight fit like the carpenter jeans, but they're a little tight compaired to the carpenter jeans. The Levi 569 jeans look great with dress shirts though.

I cant fit into my skinny jeans either. I am actually going down in BF%, my waist is even shrinking, but my ass and legs are getting bigger. So I cant even zip em up anymore. I had to get a couple pairs of old-school carpenter work pants just to wear out, so I didn't look like a shlub in sweat pants in public outings.

Lol sweat pants are my fear. Nah carpenter jeans are too tight now, esp Carhartt. I realized it was time to look for other pants when I was visiting a job site and a guy walked up and said "You must work out a lot" he was referencing the tightness of my pants.

I just looked at a pair of my pants, they are Wrangler Carpenter Relaxed Fit. They are really comfortable, I actually have a little room to grow and I will still fit in em.

I wear workout pants all the time jeans are so uncomfortable I look for loose fit and try them on before u buy I'm six foot four 275 right now bro I feel ya. I can't find shirts either most extra large fit awesome except there short on me and show of my stomach or most xxl are big enough but don't show off any of the hard work I do at the gym. iv been told to go to big and tall stores sucks for me cause the closest One is like 80 miles away

emac83's picture

Me too dude, I've found that Nautica and Polo are bigger cause they're marketed towards older men who are a little portly. Don't get their Tall shirts cuz they're like night shirts for women

rolltide3's picture

Its hard to find clothes I never understand why they don't offer more for us if I go for clothes and find one or two pairs of jeans that fit good I'm happy usually if they fit they are nut huggers can't stand that

Drywallstar's picture

Same boat here. I just had to buy a new pair in a bigger waist size and keep my belt. I cannot fit new 34x34's over my quads. Waist is fine but if I picked my leg up I would blow them out.

emac83's picture

It sucks dude, nothing wrong with carpenter jeans but I hate wearing them everywhere. I'm stuck wearing tennis shoes and boots everywhere. I bought a bigger waist size too but just feel restricted in them. Hope someone knows something we don't lol
