Mods deleting posts

I saw a post this morning on a review page about a certain source ripping someone off for $600. Before the source was able to respond to these accusations a mod deleted the post. I thought this site was about showing all sides of a source good and bad and about us being able to express our opinions about sources we've used. I was interested in seeing the outcome of this accusation and how the source handled it. Any input on this is appreciated.

Unless you can reproduce or recite word for word what the post said, there's no way for you to say it wasn't in violation of forum protocol in some way.
Case dismissed for lack of evidence.
Also keep in mind, that "reviews" may be deleted if the guy is making the same review over and over and over again.
MultipurposeI'm fairly sure it was you that deleted it because afterwards you posted something about people ganging up and giving too many negative points.
Anondude who posted did not post in the form of a review and was told to do so which apparently he did not.. It was not a review nor did it contain any of the elements which would have made it fit in the review section hence instructions to repost as a review were sent.

sgtstedankoOh yes, I've had many many posts deleted; Some of my best arguments are gone into the Internet ether. All because I had no clue where I was, while browsing on my smarter than me phone. Now with all the updates, it's great... In my experience, they don't usually delete, unless it's in the reviews, and clearly Not a review.
Nobody is deleting reviews good or bad. If the post is missing it can only be to these reasons:
It was violating rules.
It was a reply to a post that got deleted because it was violating rules.
It was not a review.
It was a spam post (identical review written multiple times).
tread-mWell or one other possibility which may fall under one of yours...someone (not me of course ..happened today..but not really) scolds someone for chat in the reviews and because "someone" was not a MOD a MOD deletes the scold but not the chat because the MOD feels as though.....welll I dont know what they felt. But again, purely hypothetical and probably never happened so nevermind. : O
MultipurposeOk, yes I do trust the Mods and I appreciate all the things they do to keep the site running smooth. The post was written as a review for product the individual never received, so it wasn't necessarily against any rules. Maybe there's more to it than I know and I'm sure the mod made the decision to delete it with respect for the source(as it's one I trust and will continue to use) but things like that should be left to air out. A simple response from the source was all that was needed.

ItsNoelI wrote a bad a review before about AB that wanst bad but it wanst good and it was taken down within 5 mins............. i tried him because he messed up my order and it was never talked about again........... Also AB never responded to my email about it i guess he thinks everyone is trynna rip him off no bitch u did mess up orders like mines!!!
thats because SOME NOT ALL mods play favorites they know who they are although they will deny it!! but ive seen it a few times with #1 sources one that mysteriously dissapered and the present #1 source bad reviews deleted just ur random bad review one out of 100 shit like anyones gonna not use a source cuz one guy has a problem? the guilty parties must of been scratching their heads on the last ab debacle if they deleted the bad posts their wouldnt be ANY posts left LMFAO!! I never saw anything like that here, I would be pressed to say it was posted in the wrong area there is a comment and question area and an area just for a review so if it was worded wrong then that seems more likely that a blantant attempt to cover for a source.
It was that little asshole talking shit about ab(who's the man by the way). I read it and like jtizzle said it defiently was not written proper or in right place.. don't worry bro the mods on here are excellent, they got your back.
JtizzleThis is why I really wish EVERYONE would read all instructions and tips on site. If it was written as a proper(and legit) review and was taken down that would be bad news , but i have no reason to doubt MODS here and lord knows there are tons of non-review comments on review pages everyday..

I believe the reason why it was deleted was not because there is a hidden agenda but because it did not belong in the review section, it was not a review. It should have been in the supplier into.
Considering how much money is to be made in this business, it is not uncommon that other sources will create accounts to bash others.
Probably the source was able to prove that the user never ordered or actually did receive the order.
Hmm I would also like to know the answer to which source has supposedly ripped someone off???
