Anyone know what’s up with Makwa? About three weeks ago he was having breathing trouble and now he hasn’t been online in like 7or 8 days? I don’t mean to pry or be nosey, mods can delete if this is like violating privacy or whatever if he wants to stay private I apologize but just concerned about him and usually he’s on here often. Hope all is well with him and I’ll say a prayer just in case.

I've done a deep dive on Mak over the last week and from what I can tell, he's physically fine but going through some hard times right now, I'm sure he'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Let's give him some space and be here for when he comes back.

Does anyone know what we are supposed to think in this horrible situation, where do we go from here? Do we just live in hope that he will turn up?
Idk man, I was thinking the same thing earlier. For the guy he was and the difference he made here, we can’t just go on like nothing happened and not do something or say something. but i don’t think anyone wants to do anything just yet, technically it hasn’t been THAT long, for him it is , but I think guys( including myself) just wanna hold out hope a little longer but at some point we need to do something for the guy that meant a lot to a lot of people here. SEVERAL times in the past two weeks I’ve had questions I know he could answer and no one else has really been able to help me with, there is certainly a hole without him here.
Well said mate, better than I could have put it all. I'm not wanting to tempt fate or bad news by any means, but its bothering me a lot. I know there's not a lot we can really do about things but I don't want what we are discussing here to just fade away over time and be forgotten about as if its just a member that has stopped coming on, because unless he is very ill and unable to he just wouldn't do that. He was at home here and loved coming on everyday and helping people, I think he must have helped more people than anyone ever has done in the history of the site. I knew at times I was nagging him a bit in PM with questions but he always got back to me when he was next on and always gave long and detailed answers, he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing.
We won’t forget bro and I don’t think bfg or Greg will let it slide away either. We need to reach out to them at some point, if this continues and have them do something, like put something on his profile or something on the home page or a banner or something. Just too early I guess. We’ll do some big thing for him and then he’ll log back in and be like “wtf is this, you guys are a bunch of morons” lol
Man I know animosity is number 1 here from us to src’s, but dammit I love some of y’all like brothers. Hope all is well. Thanks to everyone who checked up and stayed with me through my own struggles. Truly hope he’s okay and comes back to see this post!

Whatever he may be doing or going through I wish him the best. Stay strong brother with whatever you got going on. Whether it's a goal or something personal.
So I’m not a very religious guy but my mother is very. She’s an old school Irish catholic. And in almost Catholic Churches there’s this little area with a bunch of unlit and lit candles and a statues of someone and a place to kneel and pray. You light a candle for someone and say a prayer for them and the candle stays burning for however long and it’s burning for that person. Anyways I was in the hospital and was basically in a coma, and on a ventilator, they call my mom and say I’m not gunna live through the night. She went and lit a candle and like 24 hours later I woke up again. And just like two weeks ago my mom had a cancer tumor removed and a few days after that before I took the trian back home I went and lit a few candles for different people, one was for my mom. Not even twenty minutes after lighting the candle her doctor called my mom and said they were able to removed all the cancer, and she’s most likely cancer free. Might just be a coincidence but anyways I asked my mother to go down to her church and light a candle for Mak, I know we’re all hoping for the best.
P.s. I’m gunna feel mighty stupid when he pops back up and says he just was taking a break!!

That's also great to hear about your mum mate, last time we spoke about her you were trying to persuade her to get surgery but she was refusing it and was determined to beat it by herself. That must be a tremendous weight off your mind
Thanks man, and ya for sure, I’m like not even worried now. There’s still a chance of something coming up in the next few months but they think it’s looking pretty good! She lives alone and and lives far from me. I’m just really grateful that I was able to travel up there be there for her in the hospital and stay with her for a few days at home. I spent a lot of years messing up and being an idiot, going to jail and then almost didnt live through my health issues. So it was nice to be able to be there for her and do something for her for once.
I feel the same way mate, I nearly put up a comment earlier saying that I am praying for him but felt it may have come across a bit dramatic. Needless to say I am Praying for him in whatever he is going through, because at this point it seems to me like he is going through something - I Hope every time I come on here that I see his avatar in the corner as I really cannot imagine this place without him
You are exactly right. Pray for him no matter what. We are so used to "Tea bag" praying. Praying only when your butt is in hot water. We should pray and worship during the good and the bad times.
Ya I felt it might be a bit dramatic also, that’s why I said that at the bottom lol. But you only feel stupid about it when it turns out to be nothing. If it’s turns out to be justified then it’s not being dramatic, so this is one instance where I’d be happy to look stupid and over dramatic

That’s the only bad thing about a site like this. When a regular goes dark, you know it can’t be good, and you may never know what really happened. God bless the guy, and hope everything turns out ok, although my better judgment is telling me it’s not good. Very sad stuff.

My last long PM from him on his medical status/condition/symptoms was Feb. 8.
