Litecoin

ad

Hello everyone I’ve been invested in crypto currencies for years now. I was just wondering what everyone thoughts were on litecoin, personally I think it’s a better option compared to bitcoin. Idk about everyone else but the fees on bitcoin have become outrageous and I’m just plain sick of waiting an hour to transfer my money to my mom for rent this month.

Ripple!!!!!!!!!!! at 1.00- 1.30, will hit 8 mabe more after western union, amazon and amex sign on. If coin base picks it up in the future, BOOM... finger crossed. use GATHUB thats there wallet, but you need to buy bitcoin (coinbase) and send it to you gatehub wallet and transfer it to XRP (ripple). FYI never type your own wallet digits, always copy and paste or scan bar codes, double triple check everything before sending.

Playa, my suggestion would be to go for it. It is true what Greg stated: Litecoin "typically stays range bound for several months at a time." However, if you are interested in a long-term payoff, now would be the time to invest when the value of Litecoin is still reasonably low. That's not to say it will ever become a giant like Bitcoin is now, but it will certainly increase in value as long as the cryptomarket does not crash.

Edit: Around this same time last year, Litecoin was valued at slightly more the $4.00 per coin. Yes, it did have a crash prior to that low price, just a Bitcoin has seen its fair share of crashes, but the rebound was quite significant. To more specifically address your question, I would say the answer you are looking for depends on why you want to make an investment in cryptocurrency. If it is solely so you can make reasonably affordable transactions, and not have the long wait associated with the Bitcoin blockchain, then I would keep just enough investment in Litecoin for small purchases. If, however, you are also interested in a long-term investment opportunity, I would suggest that you put more of your money into it.

What about Monero?

Who cares as long as your mom is willing to wait a bit.

Research litecoin. The whole point of litecoin was to be the cheaper, quicker payment system for smaller bitcoin transactions. If you expect it to grow as fast as bitcoin you may be disappointed. It typically stays range bound for several months at a time.

Use Bitcoin as your store of value, keeping enough money in litecoin for the smaller month to month transactions like rent payments to your mom.

Like KMC stated, you cannot discuss bitcoin in terms of payment methods.

You CAN however discuss BTC, litecoin, crypto, etc in any other manner you like (as long as it follows forum rules). I.e.- investing, different crypto currencies, any help you may need setting up new accounts, etc etc.

With that being said- I think LC is a very viable/potentially lucrative alternative to BTC. I’ve read in a few seperate write-ups from different investors/business professionals that they believe LC is going to outlast BTC in the long run. How much truth is in that, I have no clue.

and hope to see sources start accepting it.

We do NOT talk about payment methods in the open forum.

I would caution not to keep too much in bcash... It is a centralized coin where Roger Ver and his 3 mining friends control 70% of the hashrate so far... They are also trying to steal the bitcoin brand and bring bitcoin down (aggressively). If bitcoin fails, crypto fails.

Do the dead hookers have to be fresh corpses or is it ok if they're dug up and a little dessicated?
