I was very curious of what age did Arnold Schwarzenegger take steroids. As well as we all know that taking steroids under age 25 is bad for health but really, he's 6'2 seemed healthy back then.

But his diet was really clean, and it must have given him some great liver support. And maybe the dose of those things at that time were not as strong.

CleyonIt was 16 or 17, I don't know if there is a definitive account of that. I've read a lot about Arnold, and don't remember seeing anything from his mouth about it.
One thing I think is important to remember is Arnold is a genetic freak. He'd been lifting for years already, and wasn't just a pimple faced teenager who got hooked up with some d-bol.

I've heard differing accounts but most often it's suggested he started at 17. Mind you Germany had a very good drug program and understanding of these drugs in the late 30's so it's like he had very well educated mentors. In his biography he talks about all the older guys taking him to work out and showing him the ropes.
