So overnight I went from broke ass college student who could barely afford my weekly rations of fish and red meat while on cycle to making more money than 90% of the people around this hick ass town. The moment they told me I was hired my first thought was "Yes!! Now I can afford all the grass fed hormone free red meat and fish I can eat" lol. I was lucky to get it, was told by a guy in HR that they dont normally hire felons but they gave me a pass since all my shits over 10yrs old. Well we have a union so work conditions are great, money is great, great benefits, etc. and Im thinking everything is going my way right. Well shit got better, as I was leaving today I see a sign in the plant that said "Fitness Center". Nobobody had mentioned it to me so i was surprised, I figured it probably sucked though. I walk in and they have a fully stocked weight room, everything a gear head would need. Im like "Yes!!". I asked my supervisor about it and he actually told me I can lift on the clock seeing as how we only work about 8 of the 12 hours were there anyway. Get paid to get swole cant beat it. I guess the sun even shines on a dogs ass every once in a while.
