Half Life Question?
Ok guys got a question on half lives. for example, the half life of aromasin is 27 hours, so would that mean if you took 12.5 mgs of aromasin on monday at 7am, on tuesday at 10 am there would still be 6.75 mgs in your system? Confused and overthinking things, Reason why i am asking is because I tanked my estro by taking 25 mgs a day, so I skipped one whole day and then took 12.5 mgs the next day but that would mean I still had 6.75 mgs active in my body, then I took the 12.5 mgs so its more then I needed? lol idk Im trying to wrap my brain around it and proabably just over thinking things.
Im just thinking when people recommend 6.75 mgs ED or even 12.5 mgs ED eventually after a couple days your body is going to have way more then you need active in your system?
Monday-12.5 mgs
Tuesday- 6.75 mgs active after half life + 12.5 mgs = 19.25 left
Wednesday-9.625 mgs left after half life + 12.5 mgs =22.125 mgs left
Thursday-11 mgs left after half life + 12.5 mgs =23.5 mgs left
So am I wrong here or will eventually youll have even more then 25 mgs active in your system when your only trying to take 12.5 mgs?

TropicanaJuiceThink I understand now, you must keep a certain level of the drug in your system for it to be steady state and active, so you wouldn't want there to be nothing in your system before you take another pill because then you have no steady state values! Lol literately been on my mind all day
WithdrawlWhen people say to take 12.5 a day, they aren't referring to your peak blood concentration. They are referring to how much you need to consume daily for optimal levels in your body to reduce estrogen to desired levels.
TropicanaJuiceHere's my thing, lets say ur taking it everyday then considering there's a half life of 27 hours your gonna have the half life plus the dose you just took so eventually that's going to add up.
WithdrawlYes, that's exactly right. For some, taking 6.5mg a day is enough. You just have to find your optimal dose. The best way to know is by getting blood work done.
