Fell at work, but im coming back!*
So I do millwright work and I walked out on an unsecured (unwelded) piece of grating... as soon as I did it flipped up sideways and dropped me in a 15 ft pit where I then yelled for help for 20 min until a guy on clean up crew found me and called the guards ambulance and fire dept... they came and splinted my leg and hoisted me out of the hole on a stretcher. I broke both leg bones in one leg above my ankle or talus. I shattered the smaller bone into 6 pieces and split the larger weight bearing bone long ways up my chin. I got an 8 inch plate and 8 screws in my smaller bone holding all pieces together and 2 larger screws in other bone pulling it back together and 148 staples, some stitches in my chin, and a bruise 8 inches wide all the way around my body like a tire where my ribs were but none were broken... That was 9 weeks ago thank God it could have killed me! I been off workmans comp. I still cant walk but im in an aircast and on crutches w a swollen purple foot but im doing therapy 3 times a week. Doc told me today im going back to work tomorrow... WTF right?!?! IDK what imma do but im going. Missed this place and everyones humor and the gym. I know its still a ways off but I cant wait to fire it up!
P.S. Hope I didn't post this in wrong place... If I did just move it or delete it!

SeaHawkIm sure sending you back to work tomorrow will be productive for everyone. shm. My last job we had a girl who went out on worker comp. They sent her back to us a few weeks later. She was unable to preform about 90 percent of the jobs that her position required ( mostly teaching gymnastics). I dont know who benefits from having a broken employee hang around and try to look busy.
Damn brother.. thats a nasty fall. I used to stack steel for an elevator company when i was younger and ive seen some nasty falls into a pit. Sounds like you f'd yourself up a bit. Hope you get better brother.
