Feeling guilty about controlling temper

ad

Ok kids, serious subject.
I work in a somewhat laid back environment, and I'm a pretty laid back guy. I get along with everyone in my office rather well. However we like most offices have one douche bag. This guy is your typical 5-6" fatass with little man's syndrome. Probably 260- 270 lbs. Loud as hell, and quite unprofessional. I've had to bite my tongue more that once with the little prick, but I always keep cool because I never have and never will lose my temper at work. That's not the way that I roll.
So today, I walk into another co-workers office and he is there talking to the Douche, and as I walk in, I say casually, "Whassup crackers." (I feel that I can say that because I'm white as well. Yes, admittedly slightly unprofessional.)
The other coworker smiles and says whatsup Ed, and the douche bag says: "Whats up Bitch."
Now, I'm pretty chill, however I don't take kindly to people calling me bitch. Especially with someone who I'd like to make my bitch. (No Homo) However, I'm at work, and calling someone cracker probably made him feel justified. However it's now 30 minutes later and I am still wanting to go into this kids office and have a closed door talk with this piece of shit. You know, give him a little tune up.
So just wanted to open this up to my fellow eroiders:
Should I:
A. Go into this kids office, shut the door and beat his fat ass to an amnesiatic state.
B. Go into this kids office, shut the door and let him know in my serious voice that if he were to call me that outside of work that he would get his ass kicked in a manner that he has never experienced, including full dental work. (No homo)
C. Wait until after work, lure him into the woods beat his ass and stab him.
D. Just let shit go.

I don't know why this got my goat (No homo) but I look at that fat, loud, little man syndrome, piece of shit and would take some serious pleasure in hurting him. I could beat a guy like that into paralysis and walk away with a clear conscience.

Sorry. I know, I try to keep things light weight around here, but figured this would be as good of place as any to vent so I don't end up doing something stupid. I'm off cycle by the way, however starving my ass off to keep my weight at 215...Could have something to do with it.

Also, am I being a bitch by not doing anything? After he called me a bitch the only thing that I did was smile and say: "30 seconds and you'd be my bitch, and you know it." I really did keep my cool.
Maybe I'm being a bitch by letting this bother me.

The sight of Ed wearing cute little slippers isn't the same as you wearing em baby! I'm not sure he'll get the same response. ;-)

Engineereddisaster's picture

That's not what you told me in PM.....

Nitti's picture

Did you put that pink thong on like I told you to? When I get there you better have it on'

You two go to the bar, get him super shit faced wasted blacked out drunk style. (Roofie may be involved) Carry him to his car. Lay him in front seat. Put his keys in Ignition. Walk away and call cops saying a drunk man almost hit you and tell them his location......

How do you feel about fat people Ed? I myself am divided on it. I take offense to fat people who feel the need to talk shit because they are insecure about how someone who takes care of them self looks. The typical little guy syndrome as you call it. I also find little mercy for people who let them selves get disgustingly out of shape and continue to eat and complain about how miserable they are.

On the other hand I do feel a bit sorry for those people who truly have a disease of obesity. The people who can't walk a flight of stairs without having a heart attack. Even those people have a choice.

So my question is do you have a problem with fat disgusting puny humans in general or this guy in particular?

Engineereddisaster's picture

I really don't have a problem with fat people, or skinny people or short people or tall people. I think we are all just trying to find happiness. Most of us in this forum find satisfaction in the gym, while other find it at taco bell. Just the way that it is.
I think my problem comes with those who try to compensate for their differences by trying to bring others who are not like them down. Jacked or Fat.

So no. I'd even have a hard time calling someone a fat disgusting puny human, because from my experience sometimes there is a pretty awesome and amazing person hidden under that fat disgusting, puny human shell.

And as we see here countless times, sometimes we find fat disgusting puny humans hidden under a pretty jacked shell.

Well, if you did already give him the 30 second line, I think the point has been made.

If not I am thinking C. j/k no homo

Engineereddisaster's picture

C! Finally the answer I was looking for.
I'm kind of like the first time juicer with my mind set on using tren the first cycle. Hate all the advice until I find someone who says its ok. Smile

Ed, are you kidding me? You're considering getting into a scrap at the office?? If he walked into your office and said that you're a little bitch, it would be one thing... You made a joke and he took it too far. You even made a comeback. Let it go brother, any other choice is childish.

Plus, do you really want to be the man who beats up the short-fat guy?

Engineereddisaster's picture

No. I'd take the scrap out of the office. Mostly just venting here, instead of with other co workers to keep shit civil.
But you are right. Probably childish to be pissed off like this. Thanks for the level head.

Oh, and for the record. My conscience would have no problem with me being the one who beat up the short fat guy. I know. I'm sick but I can't do anything about it.

greeeen13's picture

...or put a mask on and beat that f--ker senseless

greeeen13's picture

I know you're a big boy and you can handle yourself. I also know what it's like to have guys take things too far to make themselves feel tough (insulting a guy who fights MMA really gets these shits off). I would just hate to see a quality guy like you lose his job, be sued civilly, or charged criminally because of some insecure little shithead.

Engineereddisaster's picture

That's exactly how this guy gets off. No shit.

ANBRO's picture

OMFG! Something in the water today? OR are you really in my damn office? SOOOOO I have this women that works in the office next to me.. We work together I guess you could say... we have different bosses and we do completely different things... but still same office. At times the work that we do will cross over, meaning something I do she will come across and need to deal with and vis versa.. This morning she comes over to my office stands in the door and starts asking questions about something that she's made it plainly clear they have a handle on... however she asking me if I did it.. WHAT! why the hell would I do something that she's over seeing!!! So after about 10 mins. of her trying to understand why what or how.. I looked at her and said "To be honest I have no damn clue what you are wanting..." Her response "I just need to know you haven't done it" once again... WHY WOULD I! Anywho!! This women drives me insane.. she's the biggest bitch I've ever meet.. And for the record... I'm a bitch... she has me beat hands down. SO right now.. I want you to beat the living shit out of him just to give me a reason to go over and slap the shit out of her.... However, my advise.. Do nothing.. I can honestly say.. I know that you demand respect and he's just trying to prove he's deserving.. maybe going about it in a dumb ass way.. Thanks for letting me vent on your thread...

Engineereddisaster's picture

Lol. Lets do this shit! I'm headed to his office right now! Smile

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

Brother.. its an age old emotion, i have walked away many times but also inflicted serious damage many times also when i was younger.

Felt guilty after both scenarios............... its just one of those things in life bro that we have to live with

Engineereddisaster's picture

No shit.
Which guilt is worse?
The guilt that comes with taking the high road and walking away, or the guilt that comes with cuts on your knuckles?

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

Hmmm ... for me bro its taking the high road i am afraid....... being irish its easier to let the blood boil and rip some fucks face off than it is to walk away... genetic traits can be a bitch man :(

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

X2... cant argue with that Smile

Engineereddisaster's picture

Lol. That's my experience too.
It's probably fortunate that the consequences of taking the low road are so much higher.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

yeah yeah... i started to mature and calm things down with my explosive temper 3wks last tues ....... its been a great experience i feel like a new man.... its just uncomfortable wearing this fkn strait jacket 24/7... lmfaoooooooooooo.. and the ice hockey mask i have glued to my face is the pits man.

If I truley have a beef with someone I never make a spectical of it and I quietly tell him exactly what's on my mind as respectfully as I can and without threatening them. Now the balls in their court. They can choose escalate this issue or acknowledge it and move on quietly.

Engineereddisaster's picture

I think you are right bro. It's probably just an over-reaction. Unfortunately I've got the size and the background that makes me feel entitled to respect. Which is probably wrong. Sense of entitlement is a shitty thing.

BlackDoug's picture

Lol that's a win win! He'll never admit to getting a beat down by a woman and you can tap that ass or in Ed's case both of their asses

Engineereddisaster's picture

Lol. My wife in real life is 120 lbs soaking wet, and hasn't got a mean bone in her body unfortunately.

Engineereddisaster's picture

lol. If I wasn't married, I'd just nail his ugly wife out of spite.

B52-BODY's picture

you have a boss at work ?. talk to him.

beating up lard ass wont help you. I spent almost 2 years at a job with a boss I wanted to strangle on
a daily basis.. just to see if I could keep the job. I eventually quit.. and when I did.. I got the last laugh..
(long story.)..

Engineereddisaster's picture

Talking to the boss is not an option. I'd much rather solve it myself. I'd feel like more of a bitch by telling on his ass. I've gotta be able to look myself in the mirror.

dandog's picture

If you said that last part then I'm sure he knows to leave you the f alone. So I'd leave it be. If you didn't really say the 30 seconds and you'd be my bitch" thing then I'd probably just take him to the side and tell him that what he said to you was completely something you don't go for. If he brings up the cracker thing then say that you now know where he stands and now HE knows where you stand. If its said again then I'd say stab him. NO HOMO.

Engineereddisaster's picture

No, I really said it. Unfortunately a prick like this knows that he's safe in a workplace environment, and with his little man syndrome, he'll always feel like he needs to prove his manhood. He knows his safe spots. I think a little talk outside of work might be a better option. Maybe I'll stop by his house on the way home and invite myself in for a beer.
