Facebook?
I'm not one for Facebooking this place. hell, FB rarely even sees my login these days.. lol But, i appreciate all my brothers here - you know who you are - ya'll are like family!
i was up more than half the night last night trying to console my financee`. last night was supposed to be a special night for the two of us. after dinner, we decided to go pick up one of my wedding bands - she bought me two, one for work and one for looking pimped out. we brought with us the more expensive one to have it resized. well, the 9.5 was a bit loose on my finger (which is the one that we were picking up), and we were planning on resizing the nicer ring to a 9.5. decided to wait because my fingers were really cold at the time. so i wore the ring for a bit to see if my finger would acclimate and make sure 9.5 was the right size.
i decided to stop off at a photo booth to take some pics with my pretty lady. well, we set all our stuff down in the photo booth during the pics. when we got done, we had to wait a few minutes to get our pics. i remember seeing some kids waiting to use the booth. when we got home, we couldn't find the zales bag with the more expensive ring in it... she accidentally left it in the booth... i've never seen a woman take something so hard.. she is a full time student and a part time employee. $400 to some of us isn't much, but to her it is a lot.. i feel so bad because i don't like seeing a woman cry for one and because i know she'll go broke trying to buy me another one..
what pisses me off about the whole thing tho is that these fucking kids jumped right in that booth, found the bag, took the ring, and didn't bother saying anything to us while we were still standing there.. what is wrong with these younger generations?? my daddy was and is a fucking asshole, but he def raised me to treat people right. i'd like to snatch them little bitches up and beat the brat out of a couple...
just venting, fellas. i know this is WAY off topic... so, how 'bout dem tigers?

Anonyeh theres nothing worse ay bro! in my line of work we recover peoples lost wallets.. phones.. watever you can lose we pretty much find it! i reckon we hand back a dozen iphones a week! atleast half a dozen wallets and just as many shoes lol :/ the thing that pisses me off is how handing back a wallet full of 100$ notes to a rich cunt is almost like they couldnt have given a fk if we'd kept it :/ i mean the kinda ppl losing that kinda money are the kind that would waste it on coke n hookers anyways! the ppl that make my day are the ones gettin back their 10 year old leather wallet with their pic of their mum thats black n white n tattered and as old as they are! ive seen old fellas have a teary passin them back their cashless raggedy old worthless goods.... some things mean the world to poorest of ppl! but these things are what makes the world worth living in!

There isn't much to say other than that really sucks sorry to hear it! On the positive $ comes and goes u can always earn more, but a good woman.... Once in as lifetime if ur lucky. Whatever you do don't tell her "I didn't really like that ring anyway" lol

As far as facebook goes, Im not on it. I tried it for three months and hated it. I enjoy the posts here of all varieties and find them nothing at all like what I saw on facebook. That was all bullshit, this is brothers and a few sisters supporting each other.
Oh damn! That just flat sucks! $400 would wreck me so i feel the financial pain. Hope you both get some good personal time this weekend. A great relationship means more.

and yeah, i thought about that. we have theft protection on the ring and we filed a police report last night saying that we took photos then sat on the bench. next thing we know it was gone. hopefully that will work

AnonWe did more than that. We called security and the police. Security found the bag empty in the booth and we filed a theft report with the police. Spun it like someone snatched from us off the bench. Hopefully the theft protection we bought will pay off. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to give her father the money to buy a new one bc she won't accept it from me.

That really sucks bro.. i know the feeling, i sat a bag down in atlantic city at the casino with a diamond bracelet, a diamond ring and 2 ebel watches in it, i walked away for a minute before realizing i left it, and it was gone and no one ever turned it in... its sad how people are
