+ 27 Experiences with injuries, I wanna hear stories

ad

AAS CATEGORY

Deca, Equipoise, Anavar, and Primobolan will ALL increase skeletal muscle while at the same time dramatically increase collagen synthesis and bone mass and density, leaving you with a substantially reduced chance of becoming injured than if you choose to use AAS in general. (test only etc.)

While testosterone will increase bone mass and density, even at supra-physiological levels, the result is weaker tendons due to inhibition of collagen synthesis

Percent increase ranked
EQ = 340%
Deca = 270%
http://m.ajs.sagepub.com/content/32/4/934.short
HGH alone = 250%
Primo = 180%
Anavar: with the short half life and hundreds of studies, definitely a viable option!

MUTA HEALING PROTOCOL

Frontload the TB-500 at 10-15mg a week for 4 weeks straight, beyond this point, shoot a maintenance dose of 8-10MG EOW for remainder. I use it on a bi-weekly basis and have noticed a major increases in my muscle shape, never had any more "tweaked muscles" and it has a definite "leaning" effect from what i have noticed. I have used it on and off for almost 3 years now. Long before people became privy to it and I can attest it surely works!

Dislocating my shoulder and tearing it in 3 spots, I attribute the TB-500 for the key benefactor for why I have not only recovered, by triumphed beyond my old limits.

shooting TB-500 IM into the injured site has given me instant alleviation to the pain, but is not permanent. I believe it has an anti-inflammatory property when it comes to site injections

IGF-LR3 (must be real, get your baselines tested and make sure its working) Site injection is just rumors due to the half life. Start at a moderate dose of around 40-50mcg post workout. I use take it with a 50g shake of Karbolyn/50g Protein mix. Shoot it in 2 week intervals. 2 weeks on, 3-4 weeks off. This will slow your natural IGF production, so I try to be conservative.

HGH (the dosages I suggest are speaking on behalf of human grade HGH)
This is something I don't ever feel the need to come off of. learn how to time it away from your carb baring meals and run a low maintenance dose 3IU ED, no days off. HGH alone promotes collagen synthesis x250% Its sides are slim to none, but price is high because of this. Make sure NOT to self diagnose your need for T3/T4.

TEST CYPIONATE 200mg/w 1-16
EQUIPOSISE 600mg/w 1-16
Deca 200mg/w 1-12

(please do not neglect the proper AI's, support, PCT etc)

Supplements I suggest you all should pick up

Wobenzyme
Tumeric
l-citrulline
l-arginine

Serrapeptase is currently being studied and used for a vast array of applications for human health and disease prevention. This includes therapeutic use for nerve damage, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic ear infections, hay fever, lung congestion, swollen glands, laryngitis, rhinitis, chronic pain, arthritis, back and neck pain, diabetes, ulcers, osteoporosis, prostate problems, rheumatoid arthritis, sports injuries (both prevention and recovery), post operative scars and lesions, varicose veins, arterial diseases, angina, blood clots, anti-aging, restoration of healthy fibrin metabolism and reduction in C-Reactive Protein.

Here's a few studies I found on it's anti-inflammatory properties. You can't get a drug patent for it so most of the research is taking place in Europe and Asia where they actually care about helping people. I take it morning and night as part of my daily.

(in my case this intense "stack" has helped my joints by a ten fold. All cheap, safe to consume, and easy to obtain)

So, come on guys.. lets hear your stories. Are you fighting an injury? trying to prevent them? Need help setting up a cycle because your body is getting "old" I see so many posts of people using Deca because of what it does for our joints.. but not much knowledge on peptide use, steroids used so we don't mess up our tendons etc. Most get overlooked if anything. The supplement advice was from tread (which he advised me) and I pulled the collagen part from youngtricep - an old, great post that got overlooked

any information you have that I can add to this post regarding peptides, protocols etc, post away and I will edit this. I think where all this board discussions cycles cycles cycles, not many people are educated about what to do when an injury strikes, or they can't do hammer curls anymore because their elbows hurt too damn bad!

Awaken The BeAsT's picture

Had a severe stab wound in August some heroine addict randomly tried to break into my mother's car with her in it. Luckily I was visiting and was able to get downstairs and tackle the guy down.

The bad was in the midst of taking him down he had a box cutter and left a 10 inch gash that went down to the bone. Required 30 stitches and reconstructive surgery. Lost all feeling and use of left arm.

Honestly figured I was screwed and two months out decided the hell with it I'll rehab on my own (Could not afford to get to rehab due to job loss) thankfully after pushing through the pain and soreness. Woke up one day and could use my arm again about mid October.

Just thought I would share my story that even in the face of adversity if you believe in yourself enough literally anything is possible.

Now I am roughly about five months in (training). Good to know im not the only one who thought they would never lift again thumbs up bro. Good to know im not alone...

Thank you for your infomation!

Thanks for the info! I've been searching for at least a solid year in my spare time trying to find the best healing protocol. I have a few posts that don't get any attention and some serious tendonitis/scaphoid tear or damage in that region of the wrist. Arthroscopy is next soon, if that comes back negative then the worst case scenerio is true, severe tendonitis/tendonsis. But I refuse to give up on my dreams of becoming an artist. Thanks for the info.

Come to think of it in light of recent events, posting your medical history alongside your body statistics is as unique as a fingerprint, especially considering the government has access to people's medical history now without a subpoena.

+1 Bro and hope your healing is coming along...thanks for this post its geared toward what I've been reading into.

In 2007 I was had a wreck drinking and driving where I was thrown from the car. I suffered a burst fracture in my L5 throwing bone fragments into my spinal cord causing a right foot drop, parts of my sack, and ass cheeks to have numb spots. learned to walk again and used the gym to get sober. Doctor did an amazing job with me and I've healed except for fott drop but I still runa dn don't let it slow me down. After my first couple cycle of test, dbol etc I started reading about the healing properties of HGH. Long story short I started a cycle to see if I could get any help with my injuries.

Dbol first 4 wks
Cyp - 600wk
Equipoise - 600 wk
HGH 4iu ED (generic)

I've been reading about peptides etc. trying to learn more about what I might be able to do to possible heal my foot more or feel that small patch of my ass cheek again. Any feedback is appreciated

Thanks for starting the thread Muta

me and mwagsgurly purchased Serrapeptase and ran it as suggested, from almost day one we boht suffered from headaches, which than became migraines it didnt really set in until i missed a day, than i realized it was the Serrapeptase, so i discontiued its use. i still got 4 bottles of it here, i recently started with one pill in the am before i eat, and i plan to do this for 2 weeks than go up to another pill in the AM. i got it to combat scar tissue. ive been on it now for 8 days, my left shoulder which hasa great deal of scar tissue seems looser, less impingement. i dont know if its the Serrapeptase, but im going to continue and see how it goes.

I don't have any crazy injuries or any minor ones right now, but I am worried about my knees my grandpa did bodybuilding when he was younger and he ended up getting knee surgery and still has terrible knees. I pay attention to all my form and any type of odd pain in my knees, I don't feel pain anymore in them but still I would like tips to help fight off killing my knees. If I can't get away from because I'm doing bodybuilding then so be it but if I have a fighting chance then someone help me now! Also I use knee wraps if I do heavy weight but some say those will make my knees weak, opinions?

By means of an update, I had my front delt reattached and labrum repaired 23rd august. Using hgh and tb500 for recovery, yesterday I benched 225lbs mostly pain free 12 weeks after surgery. Surgeon told me it would be January before I could press 100lbs ;)

Catalyst's picture

Another week later, another couple of plates. 315lbs this morning, shoulder held up nicely. Probably won't push it up for a couple if weeks and I certainly won't be returning to pressing 500lbs+, but that's old age for you lol!

Catalyst's picture

Drop me a pm and I'll run you through it. I have access to freebie tb500 so I was "liberal" with my dosages ;)

randys52's picture

hey man, just got mri results ...full thickness tear of rotator cuff from chest presses...want to see where you got tb500 free...man I looked it up on line and it is like 215 for 10ml? thanks!

I am a MESS, and a total N00b, so bear with me, and speak in Digestible bites, please ;)

I have 4 seprate Issues

1) Knee injury caused by Judo.
Happened a month ago and is healing rather well, but would like to get back to 100% or better if at all possible. Hyperextended the knee by a 320 lb Black Belt sitting on it.

2) 3 Herniated discs in my spine
(Between C's 3-4-5-6) weakness in left arm, muscular atrophy. couldnt move it at all for a while but it can move all directions now, just weak as shit. This is what has lead me to Steroid use as an alternative. this has been going on for 5 years now and my body has gone to shit - Ill try to post pics but its not pretty. At all.

3) LOW testosterone levels. Like 300s low.
Doctors basically told me they wont do shit until they are below 200.
I used to live with three women and fuck like a racehorse until they gave me meds to "fix" my Autism... now Im lucky if I pop off once every 2 weeks , and I went from looking like the hulk to looking like the Blob. I am tired ALL the time and I dont know what to do about it, And Im done with the "well you're still breathing and not bleeding, so nothing is wrong with you" mentality/treatment.

4) IM BIG AS SHIT.
Always have been. Like 400 lbs range whether in shape or not. I would like to shed all of my BF as fast as humanly possible. Im 6'6" tall and have a 46" waist and 40" thighs. I also wear size 6X gloves. Ive done Martial Arts all my life, and I can drop into the Splits right now, kick above my head, all of that. Never had an Issue moving, but would like my cardio to be better if at all possible.

(Oh, and Im kind of Broke right now so the cheapest soloution would be best - I spent my savings going to an Unexpected funeral right after going to my yearly certification. - either that or I will just have to wait & save up, either or)

NOTE
I work my ASS off EVERY DAMNED DAY in a losing battle to Fight my Genetics, so PLEASE dont tell me to "work out" or "run" or anything about Diet. I have a VERY strict Regimen - 5X more strict than some of the Pro Fighters that i work with - which nets my ass not even 1/10 of the results. If you arent going to be helpful p[lease save your comments and jokes for someone else.

Thank you to those that are Helpful.

I wonder: how does 1-test cyp compare with EQ since it's an EQ derivative?

gambit's picture

i gotta say my current cycle that contains deca and eq is having me feel amazing! but i must be careful not to make the injury worse.

CR1970's picture

Ok. Yesterday, I went for my last follow up from a distal bicep tear that I had, and was repaired using the endobutton procedure. I had the surgery on Sept 13th and found this thread within a week or two of post op. Picked up some TB500 and have been using 5mg/week throughout. Yesterday I received the go ahead to start lifting again! So, that puts me at around 9 weeks from surgery to resuming normal activities. Keeping in mind that I had to wait for the appointment date to roll around to get the go ahead versus me feeling and being capable of resuming exercise. I've said before that having never had an injury of this type, I had no way of gauging my recovery but I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe that TB500 did not play a role in my recovery. Two months is pretty damn good for someone who had ripped their bicep tendon completely off the bone and is now hitting the weights again.
The doc advised me not to go too heavy because of the scare tissue buildup that could potentially cause more damage. I just nodded my head in agreement as I thought about the TB500 and its ability to prevent scar tissue and to actually stretch the tendons. Smile I will continue to use TB500 EOW at 5mg.
Thanks for putting this up here Muta. I couldn't have found it at a better time.

Trying to recover and prevent... Here my story:

Have a long back and short legs (for a guy who's 6'3"). My back has always been pretty strong and deadlifts used to be my specialty. Long story short, started having some lower back and upper hamstring issues appr. 5 years ago. Pulled a muscle once doing deadlifts and once hack squatting. Fast forward to this spring when noticed lower back pains again and some abnormal tightness in my upper hamstring/lower glute area. Tried everything from stretching to rest to deep tissue massage and finally had an MRI done. Result was a partial hamstring tear. Recovered from it and pulled a muscle there again two weeks ago. My theory is that my ligaments/tendons etc have become so weak/loose that this will be an issue for me in the future as well unless I do something about it. My thinking is to start running HGH to heal it and promote overall well being and fitness. Just haven't had the courage yet to order anything... Need a word or two of encouragement to get over my mental hurdle.

Also curious to hear comments whether HGH would help with my problem?

thank you

gambit's picture

more info on using igf1 lr3 along with hgh? from my understanding we need to not dose them to close together? 8 hours or something cause of igf longs half life?

oversteerisbest's picture

Man this rocks, thanks brother. +1 and fave'd. I have had bilateral 75%+ labrum tears in my shoulders and Im 7 years post op on one, 3 years post op on the other and they are both weak and cause me a great deal of pain with most upper body exercises. Ive just started a bulk cycle with deca, EQ and HGH, so it makes me really happy to read that EQ has those properties for connective tissue: Im psyched for these compounds to kick in and reduce pain and reinjury potential. I will be doing more research on TB500 but I think it is probably in my future as well.

This thread just made me spend a boatload on TB-500 and serrapeptase lol. I'll be one happy muh fuggah if this is the answer I need to my joint pain!!

Picked up some Wobenzym,l-arginine,and curcumin at the "whole Foods" market yesterday and damn did I get the shaft. I didn't even look for the l-citrulline after I started doing the math. I know these supplements can easily be picked up at half, or more than half of what I gave for them, but I was right next door to the market and this post was still fresh in my mind, so..... Also picked up a good stock of TB500 today to get things rolling. Now this, I'm excited about. Smile

I went looking for the article you mentioned Muta.. came up with this.. hope it fits with the rest of this discussion..if not.. please feel free to remove it..or move it where you would like to...

I saw it on a post here: http://www.************.com/forum/an...other-ass.html
Not sure how valid it is though.

EDIT: can't show links. Here is a copy/paste:
Increase skeletal muscle & collagen synthesis with certain AAS

While injecting test increases protein synthesis by roughly 50 times, depending on dose and time, most bodybuilders forget that it will reduce collagen synthesis by more than 50% -- more like 80%, giving you the collagen synthesis rate of a senior citizen. Since collagen makes up tendons, bros are very prone to injury if they continue to lift very heavy, unless they cycle off T and let their collagen synthesis get back to normal. It's like having the skeletal muscle of a gorilla with the tendons of a very old man.

Winstrol increases collagen synthesis. It will give you bigger tendons. However, your body compensates for this by making them more brittle, weaker, and more prone to injury. I can't tell you how many bros work out anaerobically and become injured while on winstrol. Guys who lift in the 1-5 rep range while on winstrol, to baseball players who sprint all out from a stationary position -- winstrol should be the LAST drug they choose. Most of them like winstrol because they don't get the weight gain from it but it is very detrimental to bros who train for any sport anaerobically. Tendons tear easily on it.

Also, the drugs I mention increase collagen synthesis while also increasing collagen cross-linking integrity, making for a much stronger tendon.

Winstrol, on the other hand, will dramatically increase collagen syn, but ironically it decreases collagen cross-linking integrity, thus making a much weaker tendon.

You can plan a cycle of AAS which will increase collagen synthesis and skeletal muscle growth at the same time. The key is the drug(s) you choose.

Deca , Equipoise , Anavar , and Primobolan will ALL increase skeletal muscle while at the same time dramatically increase collagen syn and bone mass and density, leaving you with a substantially reduced chance of becoming injured than if you choose to use AAS like sus, cyp, or enth.

While testosterone will increase bone mass and density, even at supra-physiological levels, the result is weaker tendons due to inhibition of collagen syn.

To plan a cycle where the goal is to increase skeletal muscle mass/strength while at the same time increase joint/tendon/ligament strength, enough to keep up with the dramatic increase in skeletal muscle, you must choose drugs like Eq, Deca, Anavar, or Primo as the base of your cycle. Testosterone and its esters can be added to your cycle to keep levels within a 'normal' physiological range (ie, 100-200 mg/wk) but must not go above this. Since drugs like eq, deca, anavar and primo will reduce endogenous, natural levels of test, these levels may be maintained with exogenous test in the 100-200 mg/wk range. Test at this dose will not inhibit collagen syn, but paradoxically, will help increase it. It is when exogenous testosterone is used > 200 mg/wk that collagen syn is inhibited.

Deca @ 3 mg/kg a week(about 270 mg/wk for a 200 lb male) will increase procollagen III levels by 270% by week 2. Procollagen III is a primary indicator used to determine the rate of collagen syn. As you can see, deca is a very good drug at giving you everything you want -- an increase in collagen syn, an increase in skeletal muscle, and increases in bone mass and density. The one thing it does not give you is wood.

Primobolan, @ 5 mg/kg, will increase collagen synthesis by roughly 180% -- less than deca and equipoise but still substantial.

Equipoise @ 3 mg/kg will increase procollagen III by approximately 340% -- slightly better than deca.

Oxandrolone has over a hundred studies documenting its effectiveness at treating patients needing rapid increases in collagen syn to enhance healing.

These drugs have longer half-lives than most other AAS, so this should be considered when timing your post cycle Clomid use. Here they are:

Deca: 15 days Equipoise: 14 days Primobolan: 10.5 days

Anavar has a half-life of only 8 hours so it should not pose a problem.

GH is probably the most remarkable drug at increasing collagen synthesis. It increases collagen syn in a dose dependant manner -- the more you use, the more you will increase collagen syn. It has also demonstrated this ability in short and long term studies. From what I've read, hGH at 6 iu/day increased the collagen deposition rate by around 250% in damaged collagen structures. This result indicates that the increased biomechanical strength of wounds to collagen structures treated with biosynthetic human growth hormone was produced by an increased deposition of collagen in the collagen structures.

Eq, primo, anavar, and deca are all good -- they increase several biomakers of collagen syn -- ie, type III, II, I, procollagen markers. GH just seems to do so most dramatically.

Use of any of these drugs @ supra-physiological levels with a maintenance dose of test will increase collagen syn while at the same time increase skeletal muscle mass. Skeletal muscle mass gains will not be as dramatic as with large testosterone doses but you have to weigh the risk/reward basis for yourself. Also, these drugs do not satisfy the libido like testosterone, but that is not the point of this thread. It is only to demonstrate that you can increase skeletal muscle and collagen syn at the same time with certain AAS -- the decision is up to you.

I saw that post that Tread posted about Tumeric several months ago. I'm almost sure that I had partially torn my distal bicep tendon even back then, but I did pick some tumeric and yes it is dirt cheap. Most of the soreness had left and I had gotten to where I could handle a little more weight on those exercises that stressed the area. A couple months down the road, (recently) I snapped it completely off the bone while helping a buddy move. But even with the amount of damage that I had done to my tendon months prior, the tumeric was going to work somehow. But I'm definitely gonna pick up the rest of those supplements posted above as part of my rehabilitation!

CR1970's picture

Thanks. I'll pick some up.

I'm a "old" guy ;) never heard about T500 , till i read ur post . Im one of those who is thinking to use deca on my next cycle for joint support . I'm still dealing with shoulder injury from August , and one of my knee can not handle all the weights im using for squat Smile
T500 maybe can be a nice extra to my next cycle ...

OK Muta, please help me out. I sustained a partial tear of the distal biceps tendon on my left arm about 7 weeks ago - they wanted to operate - I said NO and it seemed to heal. No pain last two weeks and I have blasted the arm in biceps training. That is until yesterday. I didn't warm up that much and went to do a set of straight bar curls with 135 - set 3 in the progression so no max of any kind. PAIN, yikes, ouch. Not quite back to 0 I think, but I just ordered 150 Hydrocodones 10/325 from a nice Indian drug company online. So, I'm not gonna sit back and have all my workouts fucked up from the pain and am just gonna mask it like a meathead so I'm comfortable.

Meanwhile back at the ranch . . .

I'm on 4 IU of HGH (Nice Hyges - teal tops - 8 IU bottles) since about a month and my current cycle is TEST/TREN/EQ and VAR that I just dropped yesterday and I am on a keto diet (no carbs). I just threw the TREN in there cuz I got sick of the strength drops from the diet and now ramped up my T3 to compensate for the Tren fatigue.

Which of all the products in the protocol is the key? I mean IGF-LR3 is beacoup bucks . . . so is there something more minimalistic that would help?

hghwells's picture

Baseball my Jr. year i was pitching during a game and threw my arm out. it HURT. long story short i tore two of the muscles in my rotator cuff and had to do therapy for 6 months. i was an idiot and thought i could hit the weight room again like i was brand new and screwed myself for life i think. I can never do max weight on military press, bench press, or any shoulder exercises anymore. to this day i have to hold back in certain exercises and feel that i will never be able to reach my full potential. I am currently running Test 600/week NPP 300/week and just added Pharma HGH at 2IU's ramping up to 4. I also ran IGF-LR3 at the beginning of my cycle and it was AMAZING! to say the least. i did 20 days at 50mcg per day. My shoulder is probably the best it has been since the second tear buti still have pain. hoping the year cycle of HGH will help. i also do rotator cuff therapy 2x week (5lb weights).

Great info up top thanks. Think im gonna try the TB500

I was playing sofyball 6 yrs ago. Running to 3rd base I ran into 3rd baseman somehow and when I went to get up I couldn't move my right leg. Looked down and saw something weird in my thigh. It turned out to be my kneecap. I tore my patella tendon shooting my kneecap up my thigh and partially tearing my quad tendon. After surgery 2.5 months lying in bed then 3 months of PT. After that was a 5 year battle with opiates. I am now ready to get back what I had before. Just started hgh last week and starting my trt back again.

vhman's picture

Sorry LC. I shattered my knee cap (patella) in a fall about two years ago. I was in bed for several months and lots of re-hab. I tried to take as little opiates as possible, because I have a weakness for them. Fortunately I was able to only have to take them for a short time. My knee still gives me problems and I can't run, but I am pretty active. I do lots of elliptical training and lifting. I can do most leg exercises, but not heavy squats, but I'm good with the trade off. Just be very patient and don't get discouraged. Even though I'm not 100% (probably will never be), I'm happy with where I'm at. Best of luck and happy to help in any way!!

jimmies's picture

I just got diagnosed with a laterally torn meniscus in my knee and have surgery scheduled for later next month. I was running 250mg test cyp with 400 mg eq/week and feeling great with noticeable increase in strength and lean body mass. My knee was hurting me for over the past year and I am glad I get a chance to clean it up.

I'm going to drop the test back down to my trt dose of 100mg from now onto the surgery and remove eq. I am thinking of adding in 50mg of nandrolone and HGH 2IU 1 week prior to surgery and hold onto these doses for the next 3 months. I'm am excited that I will potentially be able to squat, clean, and snatch with no knee pain or inflammation after I heal up.

Anyone else have experience with a torn meniscus surgery, and what were your results?

clewsad's picture

my right knee has no acl in it and I have torn my meniscus and had it cleaned out. I have full mobility and I walked out of there right after surgery. My knee cap was full of arthiritis and they scraped that clean. It still grinds some but it doesn't swell up like it used to. the reason I don't have a acl is cause I blew it out when I was young and it was a bad diagnosis from a doctor and the acl rotted off. there was no reason to put a acl back because I don't play football anymore and it doesn't affect my lifting or day to day routine
